I keep talking to my wife (pulm/crit fellow) about the long-term impact of so many people being intubated for ARDS and survive: pulmonary fibrosis, tracheal stenosis, anoxic brain injury, etc. The recovery for these patients will be much longer than the hospitalizations #COVID19
