Honestly fortnite, the new movement animations were the worst decision ever made regarding this game, and posts like this just prove it @Fortnite #Fortnite
Here is a thread of Fortnite movement "issues" I've noticed (updating as I find more).
Some are fixable, while others are just inherent to motion matching. I really hope Epic brings back the OG animations (state machines) in Chapter 8.

Nice to see ppl talking about this stuff more in a normal manner. Avoided talking about it for years for various reasons but we're past that.
The game feels a lot much worse now as a result of the anim changes imo. Had multiple friends stop playing when they were changed :/

My opinion on the obsession collab is I love it Im a big fan of Inde and the obsession movie. Yes I wish they could have used red instead of black blood but it’s not end all be all for the skin. It’s still an amazing collab and if you watched the movie yes it’s definitely horrible what happened in the movie but I don’t think Fortnite is promoting anything bad by bringing this obsession collab in. The movie was one of the Highest grossing horror films of all time with one of the lowest budgets and still turned out really good ! I’m excited for the obsession bundle tomorrow 🙏❤️I just want to look at the positives and that’s us finally having Nikki /Inde in Fortnite.

As long as Sweeney is at Epic, the potential of the company and Fortnite itself will always be hindered by him.
Tim is an unpredictable liability for the company. Anytime they begin to reach a high he immediately brings about a low.
He needs to RESIGN.
Because of Tim Sweeney:
- The Fortnite Metaverse was rushed and resources were stripped from the storyline & events
- Donald Mustard retired from Epic Games
- 1,000+ Epic Employees were laid off in September 2023
- Fortnite's story suffered greatly from the lack of resources
- Billions of dollars were spent fighting Apple & Google and Tim joked about it causing financial problems in the future
- UEFN creators were, for no good reason, paid almost $800 million dollars in the past year
- On March 19th, V-Bucks prices were increased and the amount we received was reduced
- 1,000+ more Epic Employees were just laid off today
Every time we even reach a potential high for this game & things look good for everyone, Tim Sweeney manages to bring it all down. He is the ROOT of all the problems with Fortnite & Epic Games in recent years.
ALL OF THIS happened because he thought Fortnite can be just like Roblox and it took him FOUR YEARS to realize that it can't be. And only after he had done SO MUCH damage to both this game & the company. I genuinely cannot believe how someone can be so stupid.
Again, I am so heartbroken for all the employees who were laid off today. Not a single one of them deserved this. They put so much love & care into this game only to then be laid off. I truly wish them the best moving forward. Try and support them as much as possible, along with the employees who weren't laid off either. It's taking a toll on all of them.

UI needs a complete overhaul
Procedural movement animations need to go, old movement animations must return
Advanced movement, especially mantling and hurdling must go
