Sells plastic box with nothing in it besides a code. Then continues to sell a seperate map that couldve easily fit in such box. Are we now at the point we are doing real life micro transaction's of stuff that clearly should've came with the game?

Calling it AI was the smartest thing to do it confused people thinking a mere VI, with an intelligence that just stretches to the info it was given and it's inability to comprehend human error and reads it as face value, to pose as an AI that can think autonomous.
Unironically the best thing Sony and Nintendo can do to combat jailbreaks and piracy is to create consoles with no internet connection, no internal SSD or HDD storage and no external ports like USB to connect to PC. Just a simple console, with save memory and game cartridges.
The only downside is they have to release games fully on cartridge and can't be broken messes that require patches. But that's a sacrifice we have to make to combat jailbreaks. That lead to unauthorized access of games and dumps that allow piracy.
Actually curious people actively go out if their way to close apps on the phone? If so why? It's not like apps reduce the performance on my phone.
I'm pretty sure this is being done on purpose to push people to that all digital future. Make the console to read discs too expensive. People will cry I'll just play it on PC.
That's great for Microsoft cause their games are Xbox play anywhere. They just avoided the DRM backlash.
It's the exact same Sony does except framed differently.
Considering Xbox discontinued the sale of Xbox Series X, about 2 years ago in the Netherlands I doubt we even get to see this console here.
