A historic milestone for the $KAS network is unfolding right before our eyes.⚡️
Kaspa Dollar isn’t just another stablecoin.
It’s the FIRST fully decentralized stablecoin native to Kaspa — and there is NO centralized company, entity, or issuer behind it.
How is this even possible?
With the recent advancements around @kccforum and the Toccata hardfork, Kaspa’s Layer 1 capability has reached a whole new level.
As core developer @asaefstroem confirmed:
Covenants will issue it.
What does this actually mean?
🔹 No central company (No Tether, no Circle, no freezing assets)
🔹 No single point of failure
🔹 Pure, protocol-enforced logic directly on Layer 1
🔹 100% trustless & algorithmic issuance
This is true decentralization in action.
Combining Kaspa’s unmatched speed, security, and BlockDAG architecture with a truly decentralized stablecoin is a massive game-changer for the entire Web3 ecosystem.
Hallelujah! The future of sound money on $KAS is here. 🪨🚀
#Kaspa #KAS #Crypto #DeFi #BlockDAG
Today we are introducing KaspaDollar, an initiative led by core developer @asaefstroem to build the first decentralized stablecoin on the $KAS network.
The developments around @kccforum and the Toccata hardfork have considerably widened what Kaspa is capable of. Capability alone, however, does not make an ecosystem. Decentralized finance requires a unit of account that holds its value, and until Kaspa has a stablecoin of its own, every application built on it will remain dependent on assets issued elsewhere.
The design we intend to follow is the decentralized, overcollateralized stablecoin: a pattern whose security properties have been examined and tested across the industry for the better part of a decade. With the support of the core team, we consider the conditions right to bring it to Kaspa.
Realizing this requires development, an independent audit, further research, and the operational work of taking a protocol from specification to production. To fund it, we are opening a fundraiser with a target of 5,000,000 KAS.
Contributions are made directly to the fundraising address published on the website. Should the target not be reached by 1 January 2027, every contribution will be returned to the address from which it was sent.
Up until that point, this account will share the plans, details and progress of the work as it develops.

kaspa’s growth in 2026.
seeing $KAS turn into one of the most technologically advanced Layer 1s on earth in 2026, when 4 years ago it was seen as a mere replacement for $ETH mining after it transitioned to PoS, makes me feel like a proud dad.
Kaspa has officially evolved beyond P2P payments:
>programmable Layer-1 (Toccata)
>native fungible tokens (KCC-20)
>native KAS privacy research on testnet
on-chain memecoin launchpads (Kaspaseal)
> building toward a programmable PoW ecosystem without switching to PoS.
adoption is near.

This is a MASSIVE development in the #Kaspa ecosystem
Great work @asaefstroem in leading this initiative!
The #Kaspa community keeps building, even in the depths of a bear market. Bullish on the $KAS community and network

This is an encouraging development for Kaspa.
KaspaDollar is still a proposal, not a working stablecoin. But having Alexander Säfström leading the initiative and Michael Sutton offering support on protocol-level challenges makes it worth following.
The real test will be turning that technical backing into a secure, usable product.
#Kaspa
i’ll do everything in my power on the technical side to help this initiative move forward and navigate any protocol-level obstacles along the way.
on a personal note, Alex has a rare mix of technical depth, bizdev talent and deep Kaspa knowledge. i honestly can’t think of anyone better suited to lead it, and i really appreciate him taking this on

Today I am taking a break from coding (finally), so instead I want to update on where I am at -
* Kozmic bridge - The concept is solid and proven on mainnet, both directions. It is possible to use Groth16/zk to prove Kaspa to Ethereum using a level-30 superblock ladder with 100 attesting superblocks. Every adversarial case I could put on chain failed. One weakness I found myself in the relay’s replacement rule is still open, with a fix designed and waiting for review. You can’t attack this without owning some serious mining equipment, which I do not own, so I can’t verify that the higher-end attacks also fail, but when it comes to any “reasonable” attacker, they will. Not verified: that the silverscript is solid enough, and that the Ethereum contracts are solid enough. The Ethereum review is the expensive line item here (more than I can afford with my day job). Since I will not compromise on user safety, I am right now in “thinking about it” mode. If Kaspa needed an L1 stablecoin tomorrow, it is possible - but it wouldn't be safe or verified, so I won't do it just for the sake of doing it. This can wait.
* kasla - added KCC-20 token support (send, receive, show tokens with prices and market data), changed email invites to be covenant-based (either accept the invite in X days, or it goes back to sender), and an air-gapped vault with an external watcher. If Kasla itself gets hacked and someone tries to open the vault, you get an email with a “not me” button that sweeps the content of the vault to an external kaspa address (part of the vault setup is signing with the other address). I will continue to develop kasla as “the covenant wallet/account platform”. I may also merge KasperoPay into it, and it becomes a place to manage your business on Kas. Still conceptualizing.
* The KCC-20 Launcher V2.0 will be about utility tokens, and it will have some advanced options with business-side users in mind.
* Secret projects: remain secret :)

Yesterday was my last day at Anthropic.
I created Claude Code on desktop because I believe everyone can be a builder. Every feature request and bug report we got from this community was a gift that impacted millions of lives. I’m eternally grateful for those gifts, the product wouldn’t be what it is without you.
Anthropic is doing some of the most important work of our time. Contributing to that mission will forever be a career highlight for me. I never imagined I’d get to contribute to something so special in my lifetime.
Walking away from my best friends, a product I poured my heart into, and the mission was the hardest thing I’ve done in my career. But now I have some free time for GTA VI.
I'm already itching to get back to addressing all your feedback. I'll share what's next soon!

Hello, Kaspians! 🏁💚
Today we tested the new ECU tune on the Kaspa Rally Car, and the difference I felt was huge: much more low-end torque and a much sharper response!
Before, the engine only seemed to wake up at high revs. Now it pulls from low revs all the way to the limiter. When left-foot braking, as soon as I release the brake, the car pulls straight away. We’re still fine-tuning everything, but today’s testing definitely put a big smile on my face! 😁
Tomorrow there’s more work to do: adjust the hydraulic handbrake and realign the car, reviewing the rear camber and toe to make the rear end more predictable when it starts sliding.
I didn’t push too hard today… this clutch has definitely seen better days 😅
If we manage to complete the StagHunt, it’s going to be a real race against time: remove the gearbox for an overhaul, replace the clutch while it’s out, and strip down the differential to switch to a 4.44 final drive. Even with the 3.91, the gearing still feels too tall for what we need.
Every test shows us what has improved and what still needs work. We’re getting closer, and none of this would have been possible without you.
A heartfelt thank-you to everyone donating, sharing, helping and continuing to believe in this project. 💚🏁

Something significant is emerging within Kaspa’s development ecosystem, and I believe its implications extend considerably beyond conventional cryptocurrency applications. The convergence of x402, SilverScript, Argent, and Toccata introduces the foundations for an entirely new economic paradigm: autonomous machines participating in markets through programmable, cryptographically enforced financial relationships.
Consider the architecture. x402 allows AI agents to purchase services directly through HTTP requests, eliminating much of the friction associated with accounts, subscriptions, and conventional payment processors. Kaspa-specific implementations are already being developed, including experimental native payment schemes that demonstrate how this functionality could operate directly on Kaspa’s L1.
SilverScript provides the programmable enforcement layer. Its recently released compiler enables developers to construct stateful UTXO covenants governing spending permissions, collateral, escrow, and conditional settlement. An autonomous agent could therefore possess financial autonomy without possessing unrestricted financial authority.
Argent introduces something arguably more consequential: atomic coordination between independently defined contractual actors. Its inter-covenant communication architecture enables multiple stateful applications to interact within a single transaction. Imagine an agent purchasing computation from another agent, establishing collateral, verifying contractual conditions, and releasing payment through coordinated covenant transitions.
Now incorporate Kaspa’s KIP-16 zero-knowledge verification, KIP-20 covenant identities, KIP-21 sequencing commitments, and the developing vProgs architecture. Together, these technologies point toward increasingly sophisticated economic systems where computation occurs beyond L1 while cryptographic proofs and settlement remain anchored to proof-of-work consensus.
The resulting possibility is fascinating.
An autonomous agent could earn KAS by providing services, purchase additional computational resources, subcontract specialized agents, and reinvest revenue into expanding its productive capabilities.
Economic activity would increasingly emerge from machine-to-machine coordination rather than exclusively human consumption.
Importantly, this infrastructure is not entirely hypothetical. Its individual components are already being implemented, although significant integration, security, and adoption challenges remain.
Kaspa may ultimately become more than a decentralized monetary network. It could become the economic coordination substrate through which autonomous intelligence acquires resources, exchanges value, and participates in an increasingly self-organizing digital economy.

Would be a great time for an internet chaos resistant protocol like $KAS DAGKnight to come out would it
Honestly the more frequent cyber attacks of this magnitude start happening, or even being talked about, the stronger the use case for $KAS DAGKnight becomes
Should be launching on the $KAS testnet before year end
Mainnet launch should shortly follow in 2027
The world is preparing for the internet to SHUT DOWN.
Yesterday, the UK government urged households to keep 3 days of food, water and cash at home.
Among the risks are CYBERATTACKS that could disrupt power, internet access and card payments.
And this week showed how quickly that can happen.
As news of critical PHP flaws spread, attempts to exploit them climbed into the MILLIONS.
Several websites gone dark while they worked to secure them.
Now imagine a wider outage affecting several essential services at once.
You’re buying groceries, but the checkout can’t process your card.
You try withdrawing cash, but the ATM is offline.
Your rent is due, but your banking app won’t load.
You need medication, but the pharmacy can’t access your prescription.
You arrive for surgery, but the hospital’s systems are down.
You’re stranded at the airport because your airline can’t check you in.
You log in for work, but your company’s systems are locked.
You try calling your family, but the mobile network is down.
These are ALL possible consequences of major outages.
Your own phone or laptop doesn’t have to be hacked for you to feel the impact.
The services you depend on just have to stop working.
Prepare while everything still works.
