Based on the number of Grok @bot usage complaints I'm seeing on X, my theory is that SpaceX is out of compute.
They are likely weighing whether to cancel the Anthropic contract to serve the fast-growing Grok bot demand.
My Grok Bot usage costs have 5x'd over the last month after unifying plans.
Wondering if this is the cheapest or most expensive compute will ever be…

I’ve spent a few days thinking about the Tesla Roadster reveal and landed somewhere I haven’t seen much discussion. I’m neither a Tesla fanboy nor a Tesla hater. And I couldn’t care less whether what we saw technically qualifies as a flying car. Three takeaways: (1) The risk of that live demonstration going horribly wrong was real. Almost no CEO would willingly expose their company to that kind of public humiliation for a product with so little financial upside. Elon did. (2) That willingness to attempt the seemingly impossible is what makes Tesla special. It’s also arguably Elon’s greatest contribution to America. He’s helped bring back something we’ve lost. The American spirit of chasing big scary ideas that most people think are impossible. That mindset is spreading across a new generation of founders and its long term impact on America’s future could dwarf anything Tesla ever sells. I think this is deeply underappreciated. (3) Can we just acknowledge how insanely cool that moment was? We’ve reached a strange place culturally where even extraordinary feats of human ingenuity immediately become arguments about why they don’t count. Not everything needs to be a debate. Sometimes we should just be able to stand back together and marvel at what humans are capable of. I’ve been both bullish and critical of Tesla’s ambitions over the years. But watching Elon and his team push the boundaries of what’s possible reminds me why I’m glad we have him. Whether the Roadster ever makes Tesla a dollar or impacts $TSLA stock price is almost beside the point. We need more people willing to risk failure in pursuit of things the rest of us think are impossible. Because when they succeed we all win.
AI endgame, a scenario..
sunlight produces power
power runs robots & data centers
robots produce more robots
super Intelligence + robots produce all goods & services
extreme deflation
Then what?
if the cost of everything nears $0..
- do physical product companies cease of exist? (no margin)
- does GDP collapse?
- age of abundance?
- where can a human provide value?
money becomes a weird construct, because for most goods & services, trade seems to be irrelevant, but how do you value scarce resources like land?
means of production (solar, robots, data centers)..
- centralized or distributed?
- owned by companies or government?
Anthropic & OpenAI account for 89% of AI model revenue.
Together, estimated at $150B run rate in 2026, $250B in 2027, $350B in 2028. (Likely much more)
Without the revenues, I don’t think it’s possible for open models (excluding possibly Meta) to catch up with the Frontier Labs in model intelligence.
Open models are not generating the revenues to afford the compute to dedicate towards RSI and will be left behind in short order. Train is leaving the station, it’s now or never.
RSI is accelerating model improvement & it’s clear we’re in the S curve. The improvements in model quality in recent months (the ones shared with the peons) is astonishing, and will likely keep accelerating.
To prevent distillation, safety & to solve humanities biggest problems (huge payday), Anthropic & OpenAI likely will stop releasing the true Frontier, if they haven’t already.
This leaves us with a winner takes all for Anthropic & OpenAI to discover the future & be the first corporate nation state. 🫡

$200/month -> gets 80% of your weekly work done (2 days until reset)
Want to finish the final 20%? another $200, every week… wtf?
The pricing doesn’t make any sense

How do you test a cloud agent's work when it can't send you a localhost file?
Cloud agents keep sending me screenshots that don't reflect the actual output.

I’m a retired brain surgeon and I wanna tell you why you feel like life is passing by. I just need one minute to explain this to you so hang in there.
Repetitive daily routines stop the brain from recording clear detailed memories. When every day looks the same, your brain does not track time the same as a clock does. It tracks change. If nothing new happens then days, months, and years start to blur together.
This is know as Time compression. When life lacks variety, your brain compresses past days together, making it feel like time is sped up.
To stop feeling like life is passing you by, add new experiences to your life. Break routine habits, like changing your daily home routine, taking a different route to work, or trying a new hobby.
Schedule small trips or plan new adventures so your days do not blend together.
Practice mindfulness by staying fully focused on what you are doing right now and not trying to race off to the next task.
Keep a journal and write down happy memories or memorable parts of the day before you go to sleep.
Take deep, calm breaths when you feel anxious or rushed to return your focus to the moment.
You can and you will retrain your brain to not feel like life is passing you by by following these few simple measures.
The Claude v Cursor battle continues. Just made the switch back to Cursor (3rd time)
The Grok models are so fast it’s unbelievable. It’s a completely difference work experience to have tasks completed in 1-5 mins vs 10-30 mins.
Cursor usage limit issues seem to have been resolved! Harness has improvements, but I still prefer Claude’s harness. Subscription also comes with Grok @bot.

If you even slightly entertain the thought of failure, you give your mind a chance to start noticing reasons to fail. But if the only option on your mind is to win, then the world seems to conspire in your favor, because your mind will notice opportunities it wouldn't have before. Become delusionally optimistic, not because it's realistic, but because it's effective. It drastically increases your chances of success.
Been using Claude Code for 4.5 months, have never hit the 5 hour usage limit.
Today, hit the 5 hour usage limit twice without any increased usage over normal load.
Did something change?
New best practice when working with Claude:
“send me 3 side by side examples as an HTML artifact”.
Works so good for improving design!
Precisely
Starbucks spends $400 million a year on software. Yesterday they announced they're moving off IBM and Microsoft to build their own custom systems in-house.
IBM dropped 3% and Salesforce dropped 4% on the news.
And honestly this is, unequivocally, the biggest signal I've seen since OpenAI and Anthropic launched their consulting arms back in Q1. The largest companies in the world are done paying for software that half fits how they work.
We saw this coming about a year ago. Moved everything we build off Airtable and low-code tools and went fully custom. Already paying off, and it's only going to compound from here.
This is the opportunity right now.
You get all of a company's data into one system. You build out a single operating system for the entire business. You cut out bad, redundant processes. Then you layer AI on top of it, under the correct processes.
That's the core of AI consulting. Helping companies actually operate better.
There are a lot of fly-by-night offerings circulating right now when it comes to Ai Services.
For example, 'second brains'.
Throwing scattered data into a second brain while the processes underneath stay broken does nothing. The companies who will absolutely destroy their competition over the next 5 years are rebuilding how they work from the ground up.
Starbucks is showing you what other companies will be doing over the next several years.
Your job is to position yourself to facilitate that process for as many companies as you can.

If your 2026 roadmap and forecast from January still applies today, you’re moving too slow. You should have thrown it out the window by now. Welcome to H2
Just realized I no longer get spam in @X's chat, nice work! 0 spam in the last few months, I used to get multiple per day.
