Starcos drop the JV game but take the varsity game 14-5 in Cairo. Strong performance from Avery & Perri on both sides of the plate with 3 hits each on offense and 5 runs allowed on defense. Brenleigh has a 3 hit night as well, Claire, Kynlee, Jersey have 2 hits each.
Starcos split a double header with Scottsbluff. Mother Nature made it an interesting day but we’re super grateful for the opportunity to learn from all that occurred today. Playing for each other and accepting the challenge of each “send me” moment is our focus more than ever.
Good opening night for the Starcos! JV sets the tone early, literally. Ayla Nokes with a 💣 on the first pitch! JV takes the game 15-0. Varsity followed in similar fashion. The battery of Perri Tidwell and @avery_cast had 13k’s and the defense threw a shutout.

Facing adversity is what makes finding success so sweet. We’ve now played our worst game, but we still have half our season to play our best! We’re back at it on Saturday at the Cozad invite.
Tough night in GI. 10-2 loss in 5 to a stacked Vikings team. Another big night for @avery_cast 3-3 💣, only other hit comes from Pfieffer Adkisson. Hosting McCook tomorrow that will mark the halfway point in the season! Best ball is yet to be played ladies!
Anytime you play great competition and don’t have to travel, it’s a great day! Thanks to @KHSBearcatSB for hosting. Tough day of ball going 1-2 but some great things were learned.
