Here’s my singing audition that helped me book “Bye Bye Bunny: A Looney Tunes Musical ” — with screenplay and lyrics by Emmy Award winner Ariel Dumas (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert) and music and orchestration by Pulitzer Prize, Tony and Grammy winner Tom Kitt (Next to Normal). Wish we could’ve seen this one come to fruition — would’ve been a good one 🎞️ 🎥 🍿 🥕🐰#StandWithAnimation @papertiki
Absolutely heartbroken by this.
I’ve met Eric a few times at my work. He was always super kind and the first time we met I got to tell him how excited I was to meet him. The next few times he would walk up and we would chat for a few minutes before his movie 1)
The last time he came into the theater, he walked right up to me and we started chatting and I asked if he needed to leave because we’ve been talking for like 10 minutes and he said that he had just stopped by to talk with me. I was caught off guard by his generosity. 2)

Jamie Lee Curtis says the take The Bear used for her dinner table scene came right after Ayo Edebiri whispered one word in her ear: purple
"I hate if somebody yells in front of the crew a direction to me."
"Ayo walked up to me, whispered in my ear, purple."
"All of what's happening to Donna in that scene is pain, not anger."
"The wound is purple. A bruise is purple."
She had just played the scene twice at full blast, and one color moved her from rage to hurt. A shouted note across the set would have embarrassed her, while a quiet word in her ear got the take they kept. How you give a note matters as much as the note.
