My team representing @TexasBaptists @TxCLC was proud to support this important bill and thankful to @leachfortexas for his leadership.
@JohnLitzler already visited with Senator Paxton’s office to let her know we support the senate bill as well.
At least two Texas House Republicans told @quorumreport that influential Baptist leaders in Houston - one in particular - might be working to tank the proposal to prohibit use of NDAs in child sex abuse cases by asserting influence in the Texas Senate #TxLege
The @TxCLC has been following this case closely and this is a great development.
Our team continues to advocate for true justice and pro life policies, and this action by the Texas Supreme Court is both.
🚨BREAKING: Texas Supreme Court Stays Execution of #RobertRoberson.
This is huge.

Texas should never execute someone if it is possible no crime ever occurred.
That is exactly what is scheduled to happen in 8 days.
Proud to stand with a majority of my #Txlege House colleagues in requesting clemency for #RobertRoberson so courts can consider new evidence.

🎙️In our conversation with @KFruge she opens up about overcoming immense challenges—including high-risk pregnancies & two cancer diagnoses.
Her story is a testament to God's faithfulness and the power of encouragement from others. 🙏

Things that I will never stop being amazed by:
The stars in the heavens.
Watching life grow in a mother’s womb.
How spinach goes from an overflowing bowl to tiny collective when you steam it.

Today my oldest daughter met with a team of specialists to discuss a complex
& challenging surgery she’s undergoing in the near future.
In one particular moment they were discussing procedures and possible scars it might leave on her body for the rest of her life.
As soon as she understood the context of the conversation she immediately interrupted the doctors and said, and I quote,
“I am not bothered by scars.”
She told them she’d prefer them do whatever was best for her long term health and she would proudly “wear the badges.”
