Grazie @libriesocial and @JimenezEdizioni for 5 yrs. "I want to congratulate @JimenezEdizioni on its first 5 years, which has managed to conquer a space of its own in the Italian publishing panorama. Among many good books, I like to remember "Savages" by K. Johnson"@libriesocial

I am so touched by this act of kindness from @angsavage - a handmade wallaby (complete with pouch) inspired by Paris Savages. It has hopped its way all the way to me in Tassie. Angela you are very clever and very kind. Thank you. 😊🙏 @ventura_press @CameronsMgt
First of my #literarycritters for 2023 is a wallaby inspired by Paris Savages by @KJohnsonauthor a compelling account of 19th century ‘human zoos’. Equal parts disturbing and engaging. Pattern by @by_altermuligt #wallaby #australiananimals #australianfiction

It was so good to talk books again - immersive, thought-provoking, other-worldly fiction and narrative nonfiction - with the very lovely @jonodavidbutler, @frippet and Robyn Mundy. Thanks Tamar Valley Writers Festival.

Please show humanity too to asylum seekers who fled for their lives to Australia a decade ago and are still on temporary visas and separated from families - the policy is so cruel, yet these people have so much to offer #qanda

Have been feeling very anxious with family member testing positive a week ago and systems in overwhelm - was grateful to see this little fellow this afternoon. Absolutely didn’t think he’d make it up the steep bank. And super grateful our patient is doing well. Stay well everyone

I hope everyone is doing okay. It’s been a tough time here with two weeks of flu (2x Covid -ve) but this happened too - and it’s worth celebrating. Thanks to @ventura_press for this beautiful new b-format of #ParisSavages, cover design by Josh Durham (Design by Committee).

Husband just texted to say traffic at a standstill after the winter solstice nude swim 😂🥳 ❄️⛄️💦. Something quite lovely about that #darkmofo #Solstice #Hobart

It's absolutely awesome. I read someone describing it as gossamer veils ... lovely.
