Today 8/20 is my first day at Fidelity Investments in Boston. Thank you to all the colleagues at Fidelity for your warm welcome and for being generous with your time. I certainly have a steep learning curve, but plenty of exciting opportunities ahead. Can't wait!!

Monday 8/17/20 was my last day at Thomson Reuters. What started as an internship, ended up being a rewarding and (hopefully) impactful 25 year career. To my friends at TR, thank you! It has been an honor and a privilege. Be well and my very best wishes #thomsonreuters

Simple means "understood the essence" Simple means "stripped off irrelevant parts" Simple means "deep insight" Simple means "likely to be used in industry" Simple means "can be communicated quickly" Simple means "Elegant" (wish I got simpler models to review, not stacked muppets)

A timely and relevant study. Also a good read. Low-cost measurement of facemask efficacy for filtering expelled droplets during speech advances.sciencemag.org/cont…
I don't know about you, but the #lockdown2020 made me realize that going to restaurants/eating-out is a big part of my family's social life. Going forward, I need to diversify my 'social portfolio'.

Very much enjoyed the session. Thank you @trendsgroup for organizing and hosting. Thank you to my fellow panelists for an excellent discussion and for saving lives. I don't get to say that often in this context. I admire and appreciate what you do!

Very much enjoyed the session. Thank you to the speakers for a fascinating discussion and thank you for literally saving lives. I don't get to say this to my fellow panelists often!
WATCH NOW: “#Google’s deep mind is focused on producing 3D structured proteins, which will help scientists understand the shape of the #virus’s receptors and identify drugs that could disrupt,” says Dr Khalid Al-Kofahi (@KKofahi) at @trendsgroup E-Discussion youtube.com/watch?v=yDs_6Pn_…

Thank you @DanLinna for inviting me to listen to a group of smart-creatives innovating at the intersection of computer science and law. I was very impressed by the quality of the work and the presentations. Nicely done!!

Let’s talk about fairness, Mitch. NYS puts $116 billion more into the federal pot than we take out. Kentucky TAKES $148 billion more from the federal pot than they put in. But we don't deserve help now because the 15,000 people who died here were predominately democrats?

I feel guilty for passing judgment on Brian Harrison. I don't know him. I should've stuck with the facts: no formal education or experience in the said role, no record of other significant accomplishments, yet leading one of the most complex crises of our lifetime!!
cnn.com/2020/04/21/health/hy…. Too bad. But a reminder that statements like "What do you have to loose? Try it" and "I am not a doctor, but I have common sense" (Mr. Trump) are simply irresponsible.

A fantastic article with spot on insights/quotes. "The AI that delivers explosive growth often is not that sophisticated". My experience: focus on creating customer value not advanced algorithms. Complexity does not equal customer value hbr.org/2020/01/competing-in…

This is how decisions should be made - based on data and sound science, not based on 'gut feelings' and thinking that by 'being positive' the problem will just go way...
Germany has handled the coronavirus outbreak very well. And Merkel is absolutely one of the reasons why.

Another spot on article by @Mark_MarkHaddad that combines data, insights and practical advice for #SmallLawFirms. Nicely done!
How can #SmallLawFirms get an edge even amid the current crisis? Realize that the way potential clients view & consume information has shifted and that your firm needs to embrace a digital & online identity now @Mark_MarkHaddad @wjjosten @thomsonreuters tmsnrt.rs/2yHM5tq

An article highlighting @thomsonreuters collaboration with the @VectorInst on solving NLP challenges at scale. Really good to see such collaboration across several companies on solving relevant problems.

@jduprey just pointed out that I did not include a link to the article. After a few weeks WFH, it seems I am losing it :-). Here is the link vectorinstitute.ai/2020/04/0…
