KLEW Sports

Thank you to the LC Valley, Palouse, Camas Prairie, and surrounding communities, I had a blast over the last two years!

Very excited for NAIA World Series to kick off tomorrow! Check out the preview special that @JordanSmithKLEW and I put together. We go over all things @LCSCBaseball, and preview each of the teams headed to the LC Valley youtube.com/watch?v=cPZxASSD…

The Lapwai Wildcats have dominated Idaho High School Basketball for generations. This documentary special looks at how the community has shaped the town of about 1000 people until a basketball powerhouse youtu.be/Z8jO7fyM7U4

Last Weekend I got to do my best Ricky Bobby impression at the figure 8 races at ECMX Park. I may not have gotten the first place finish I was hoping for, but I had a blast, and certainly have room to improve

With the season on the line, @LCSCBaseball delivered. The LCSC Warriors beat UBC 6-3, punching their ticket to the NAIA World Series. This was the first time in decades that the team did not automatically qualify, but in the end, they're right where they want to be

Big Upset to today in the Lewiston Bracket of the @NAIA opening round. After losing to LCSC 7 times this season, they secured a 7-4 win to force tomorrow's extra game. Tomorrow at 11 am, it's 🇺🇸 vs 🇨🇦 to see who is advancing to the NAIA World Series

Since Lewis-Clark State College began hosting the @NAIA World Series, the Warriors have had an automatic bid. That ends this year. Now @LCSCBaseball is ready to prove that they deserve a spot as the NAIA Opening Round kicks off this weekend

As @LCSCBaseball gears up for the NAIA opening round, seniors Riley Way, AJ Davis, and Luke White prepare for their final ride in college baseball. Each graduates of local high schools, suiting up for the Warriors has been a childhood dream come true

🏆Back To Back @CCCSports Championships for @LCSCBaseball 🏆 The Warriors got off to an electric start, racking up 11 runs in the first three innings, ultimately taking down UBC 15-7. Now they set their sights on the NAIA Opening Round on Monday

“We’re treating this like we need to win every game” Already clinching a bid to host the NAIA Opening Round, No. 5 @LCSCBaseball isn’t slowing down as they wrap up Cascade Conference play, and look for their second straight @CCCSports conference title.

The bad news: The Smash Bash Demolition Derby has been delayed until May 14th. The good news: It gives me some more time to prepare for my debut in the figure 8 races. I got some practice laps in ahead of the big event next weekend

Emily Collins has already committed to run at @LCSC, but still has her sights set on winning a medal at state, and breaking some of her mom’s long standing records for the @lewistonbengals. So far the secret to her success has been self talk and positive visualization

Adding 3 players to each side makes a huge difference, but at the end of the day, "football is football" Clearwater Valley's @DylanPickerin15 and Prairie's @BrodyHasselstr1 are gearing up to play college football, ready to embrace the new challenges that come at the next level

“All the support I get from everyone, it feels great to give back” Before suiting up for @VandalHoops, Lapwai's Titus Yearout (@2Titusyearout) coached a free basketball youth clinic last weekend, drawing 70 campers eager to learn from one of the best in the state

In between races at Lewiston Supercross, the future pro riders of the region captured the hearts of the fans. When I was their age I was still getting used to riding without training wheels, but these little kids are fearless, and determined to do whatever it takes to go faster – at Lewiston, ID

Sprints, hurdles, discus, and wrestling - each vastly different sports. But Orofino sophomore Lindi Kessinger finds a way to balance them each, along with school, and has already won three state titles. But with dreams of competing in college, the grind never stops

Hopefully when I'm in my 50's I can still hoop like these guys. Had a great time covering the Sleeping Chiefs Shootout in Lapwai, a great gathering of teams from all across the country

Shooting #Supercross never gets old, especially when you have a full slate of competitive races. Seattle rider Colin Jurin wiped out on the first turn of the qualifying round, but bounced back to win the whole thing #mx

If the second vote passes, the boys and girls state tournaments will use the shot clock in the 2023-24 season, and teams would be permitted to use a shot clock in the upcoming 2022-23 season

Big progress towards adding a shot clock to Idaho high school basketball! Last Night, the IHSAA voted unanimously in favor, the timeline depends on a second vote on June 8 While there's a lot of support for a shot clock, it also offers a lot of challenges, primarily cost 1/2
