Alex Gay might be @MiamiOHBaseball's next pitching breakout.
The 6-foot-5 righty impressed against Illinois and Louisville this fall, and the RedHawks believe his stuff and durability give him a chance to move into the rotation.

If Zac Sohosky gets another year, @MiamiOHBaseball's rotation gets a major boost.
The lefty struck out 73 in 78.1 innings last season, and Brian Smiley says he’s been up to 95 mph and shown better feel for his slider this fall.

.@MiamiOHBaseball somehow brought back the reigning MAC Player of the Year.
Tommy Harrison hit .386/.507/.698 with 17 HR and 85 RBIs in 2026. Now the RedHawks are moving him to first base to get even more offense into the lineup.

Brian Smiley has @MiamiOHBaseball at 48-15 in MAC play over the last two seasons, with back-to-back regular-season titles.
And the best may still be yet to come.

🆕 2026 Fall Report: Miami (OH)
With another high-powered offense and a deep, talented pitching staff, @MiamiOHBaseball will in 2027 look to make it three straight MAC titles and back-to-back regionals.

Marcus Dierks is the engine that makes @MiamiOHBaseball's offense go.
He hit .389/.534/.473 with a 43-34 BB-K mark and 40 SB last year — and Brian Smiley believes he could bat leadoff and play center field anywhere in the country.
