SERIOUS COLLISION — WITNESS APPEAL #Hwy401 WB west of Courtice Rd #Clarington At approximately 3:51 p.m. today, a passenger vehicle collided with the rear of a stopped commercial motor vehicle (CMV) transport truck that was on the right shoulder awaiting repairs. The driver of the passenger vehicle sustained serious, life-threatening injuries. A passenger sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries. Le conducteur de la voiture de tourisme a subi des blessures graves mettant sa vie en danger. Un passager a subi des blessures graves, mais sans danger pour sa vie. Le conducteur du camion de transport n’a signalé aucune blessure. La Police provinciale de l’Ontario de Whitby (OPP) mène l’enquête et demande à toute personne ayant été témoin de la collision ou disposant d’images de caméra de bord de communiquer avec l’OPP de Whitby au 905-668-3388, en mentionnant le numéro d’incident E261277693.
