Commonwealth Causes was built on a simple idea: nonprofits across Kentucky are already doing incredible work, they just need more people to know about them.
With our upcoming Geneoristy Classic on August 31st, our hope is to share more awareness about Boone Brothers and their mission to feed kids. Every dollar this scramble raises goes toward making sure children in our communities aren't going hungry between meals.
Here's how you can be part of the Generosity Classic:
⛳ Play: Grab three friends and register a team for the scramble
💛 Donate: Can't swing a club? Your gift still puts food in front of a kid
📣 Sponsor a hole: Put your brand in front of a crowd that showed up to do good.

Every future leader starts somewhere 🌟
This August, join us for Future Leaders Action Day, a FREE, family-friendly afternoon built to show kids ages 6–14 just how much they're capable of. Leadership challenges, teamwork games, and hands-on collaborative art all designed to grow communication, confidence, and problem-solving the best way there is: together.
The best part? Every kid adds their mark to a large community art installation celebrating Kentucky's future leaders. Because the next generation of Commonwealth changemakers is already here, they just need the room to shine. 💙
The details:
Date: Thursday, August 6th
Time: 1–5 PM
Location: Gatton Park Stage & Community Room
Free to attend, so bring the whole crew. Let's build something bigger than ourselves.
This month's 500 Ticket Challenge is supporting FoodChain!
FoodChain is a Lexington, KY nonprofit that forges links between community and fresh food while empowering neighbors through programs like Nourish Lexington, food literacy education, an indoor aquaponics farm, and the Neighborhood Green Grocery.
Built on the belief that access to fresh food is a right, not a privilege, the organization combines direct food access with hands-on education to build a more food-secure Lexington one meal, one lesson, and one connection at a time. By entering our Ultimate Bourbon Raffle this month, you have the chance to support their incredible mission.
Once 500 tickets are sold, they will receive a $7,500 donation. Ready to give back to a community that gives so much AND win some bourbon along the way? Grab your tickets now: commonwealthcauses.org/produ…
