The #Kadena‘s codebase was of very high quality and was also very large.
This indicates that it required the hard work of a great many people.
Why was it destroyed in just 24 hours?

"A paper crown in the rain." from the song "The Zero-Sum Psalm"
$KDA #KDA #Kadena
This is a profound irony—you thought you had conquered the world, but then a rainstorm (a setback) comes, and you discover that the crown on your head is just worthless paper, and in the process, you've lost the person who was holding the umbrella for you.

The Zero-Sum Psalm
[Intro – A match strikes, heavy exhale, a dissonant piano chord]
(Spoken, hoarse)
The altar is empty.
But the debt remains.
[Verse 1 – Muttering, intimate]
I planted my garden in a sky made of glass,
Waiting for a season that would never come to pass.
I traded the warmth of a hand I used to hold
For a map to a city paved with imaginary gold.
The mirror shows a stranger wearing my old skin,
Asking me quietly, "Where do we begin?"
[Pre-Chorus – Cello builds tension, rhythm becomes erratic]
We were the architects of a castle in the air,
Building higher and higher on a wing and a prayer.
I fed the machine with my sleep and my bones;
Now the machine is silent, and I am stone.
[Chorus – Theatrical, loud, manic energy]
Oh, sing the psalm of the zero sum!
Beat the drum until the feelings go numb!
I hold a paper crown in the pouring rain,
Washing away the glory, keeping the stain.
It wasn't a thief who took it all away;
It was just the price I promised to pay!
(Manic laughter turning into a cough)
[Glitch Breakdown – Distorted bass, tearing sounds, piano smashing]
(Whisper through the noise)
Gone...
It's all... just dust...
[Verse 2 – Slower, trembling, vulnerable]
The table is set for a guest who won't arrive.
I'm counting the shadows to feel alive.
The silence is louder than the symphony played.
This is the bed that my ambition made.
[Outro – Sudden drop to acoustic, very slow]
(Voice cracking)
Fold the map.
Close the book.
The view was beautiful.
Before the earth shook.
[Silence]
I have been feeling sad, so I created a song for $KDA holders, miners, and builders.
"Stone Names" is a track from the album "Relic - Songs for the Frozen People."
[Verse 1]
Midnight on the broken square, the statues keep their pose
Rain has washed the letters down to barely-there strokes
I trace each faded carving with the shadow of my hand
Learning how to say goodbye without a clear last stand
[Pre-Chorus]
I don’t remember every face, I don’t recall each day
But something in this silent crowd still softly knows my name
I whisper to the granite, to the cracks along the spine
“If I can’t speak you perfectly, will memory still be kind?”
[Chorus]
Stone names, blurred by weather and by time
Half-erased but still alive inside my mind
Even if the alphabet has fallen off your skin
I will hold the feeling of the moment you were in
Stone names, I can’t read you line by line
But I can stand here, breathing, letting you be mine
Not to drag you from the past into the rain
Just to bow once more before your stone name
[Verse 2]
Some of you were promises, some of you were prayers
Some of you were people that I thought would stay for years
Now you’re gentle, heavy marks on statues in the dark
I carry them more lightly once I see where they still spark
[Bridge]
I don’t have to chisel every detail back to light
I don’t have to polish every sorrow into white
I can leave the moss to grow along the hidden lines
Knowing that a part of you is quietly in mine
[Final Chorus]
Stone names, slipping softly out of sound
I can let you settle deeper in the ground
Not forgotten, just no longer weights I have to lift
You become the soil beneath the roads I’m walking with
Stone names, if I mispronounce your truth
Please forgive the trembling of this late-night youth
I remember just enough to walk away
Carrying your echo in a lighter way

Too many sad stories from the #KDA ecosystem.
Replying to @koalawallet
I like kdaexplorer.com. Its interface is straightforward, and the information is displayed very clearly.
The closure of Kadena LLC resulted in significant losses for all stakeholders across the entire ecosystem.
What does the three-dimensional structure formed by the three parallel chains look like in your mind?
Is it similar to this #GLSL visualization?
Do you find it appealing?
#Web3D #Web3 #Blockchain #Chainweb #Pact #KDA $KDA
After careful consideration, I believe 20 chains is not the optimal choice; three parallel chains would be a better option.
I've created the Vootaa white paper.
I'm unsure how many $KDA community members will actually read it.

#Chainweb #Pact
Replying to @KadenaSpaceMan
Vootaa is a new blockchain universe built on the technical heritage of #Chainweb + #Pact.
It is not a resurrection of any past project but a cultural and technical reimagining — a space for remembrance, creation, and experimentation.
The winding down of Kadena LLC marked the end of an era and highlighted the fragility of centralized dependencies.
Vootaa does not attempt to "fix" the past; it treats that history of the holding $KDA as a source of energy and meaning.
Using the technical legacy as soil, Vootaa reconstructs significance from the ruins.
Vision statement:
Vootaa is not a resurrection — it is remembrance in motion.
When technology collapses, belief need not die.
Each chain offers a renewed interpretation of memory, existence, and hope.

When will the focus shift to the builders, the products, innovation and creativity, and long-term value?
I’m still here because I believe in crypto. I believe in the original idea behind it.
But what we’re watching right now is a coordinated cabal of influencers and insiders who are controlling the market in a way that has nothing to do with innovation or real builders.
From the inside, as someone who has been building for years, I can tell you the truth:
these people don’t care about product, they don’t care about builders, they don’t care about long-term value.
They only care about volume and market cap because that’s the only thing that gives them instant profit.
The worst part is that even complete shit projects with no website get pushed to 30–50M market cap just because a few people agreed to pump it for fun. Meanwhile, real builders with real products get ignored, because the cabal can’t farm quick profits on them.
This behavior is exactly why the market feels heavy and manipulated.
Nobody wants a bear market, but you can’t get a real bull market when the only things getting attention are empty hype coins made for insiders to trade among themselves.
Hopefully, once Bitcoin stabilizes and stops dumping, we will finally enter a new phase where the narrative shifts back to actual product, quality, and builders.
The future of this space depends on supporting the people who create value, not the clowns who only extract it.
The #KDA ASIC miners supported the $KDA community's self-help efforts.
With existing #Chainweb and #Pact developers, seasoned ecosystem creators/OG, and a trustworthy InFlux CTO (as Flux issued the first Flux shadow token on the #Kadena blockchain), this 3/5 multisig solution is a good choice in such a chaotic situation.
Kadena Fork Update (Nov 15, 2025)
Response to Legal Complaint on Kadena Fork Listing
Subject: Clarification and Defense of Community-Led Kadena Continuation Amid Misguided MiCA Complaint
Dear @Gate , @CoinMetro , @coinexcom Teams,
We, as representatives of the Kadena community and contributors to the November 8, 2025, hard fork (the "New Kadena Chain"), write to address the recent public complaint filed against your platforms under MiCA (Articles 6, 14–20, 59–61) and forwarded to Estonian/Lithuanian authorities. This complaint, alleging your listing of a "fraudulent" $KDA token involving cloned transactions, branding theft, and issuer misrepresentation, stems from a vocal minority's frustration with the original @kadena_io LLC's abrupt shutdown. It mischaracterizes a legitimate, decentralized community rescue as deception. We urge you to maintain your support for the New Kadena Chain, which has overwhelmingly become the true continuation of the ecosystem—now commanding 90% hashrate, active development, and broad project migrations—while we provide the facts to refute these claims.
The context is critical: On October 21, 2025, Kadena's founders (@_wjmartino_ and @SirLensALot ) suddenly ceased operations without notice, crashing $KDA's price and abandoning a live blockchain. This wasn't a graceful wind-down but a unilateral exit after six years of underperformance, leaving developers, miners, and holders exposed. In response, the community—led by key figures in crypto—rallied to fork at block 6335858, preserving the chain's history, balances, and functionality under a new client (v3.0) that enforces incompatibility with the defunct original. Far from "single-individual control," this is a grassroots effort: Original devs have returned, a community board is forming, and projects like @MercOnKadena , @crankk_io , and @thebrothersdao have migrated seamlessly. The original chain, lacking support, has dwindled to irrelevance (<1% hashrate) and is effectively dead. Claims of "cloned transactions" reference early replay vulnerabilities from the shared "mainnet01" ID—a rushed necessity in an 18-day crisis, now stabilized with no ongoing exploits. Losses (~23M KDA) were unfortunate but contained, akin to risks in any contentious fork (e.g., Ethereum's DAO split), and do not equate to fraud.
On MiCA compliance: Your due diligence aligns with Articles 15–20, as the New Kadena Chain is verifiable via public explorers (explorer.chainweb-community.…), on-chain metrics, and community consensus—evidenced by mining pools (Poolflare.net, @f2pool , @dxpoolofficial , @AntPoolofficial ) and wallets (@linx_labs ) endorsing it. No "issuer" misrepresentation exists; Kadena's August 26, 2025, patent non-renewal (US10938567B2) explicitly affirmed its open-source, non-proprietary nature, predating the shutdown and validating reuse of branding/history as a continuation, not theft (contra Article 6/14 misleading claims). Consumer protections (Articles 59–61) are upheld: Users were warned pre-fork to withdraw to non-custodial wallets, and your platforms' support has protected EU holders from total loss by enabling access to the surviving chain. The complaint's "Replay Kadena" vision is illusory—a founder-quit relic with no viability—while police claims of "stolen funds" lack evidence beyond replays, which are technical artifacts, not crimes.
We appreciate your platforms' integrity in listing the New Kadena Chain. Delisting would harm users and contradict MiCA's innovation mandate. Should authorities inquire, we stand ready to provide documentation, including on-chain audits and community attestations. Let's collaborate to educate regulators: This fork saved Kadena from oblivion, embodying decentralization over centralized abandonment.
Best regards,
New Kadena Fork Community
As a temporary measure, this transitional arrangement of the $KDA Community Edition is quite good.
However, #KDA platform emissions have always been a point of contention.
In my personal opinion, even with the establishment of the foundation, emissions should be significantly reduced. After all, this is Proof-of-Work (PoW), and it's more convincing to believe that inflationary emissions come from the electricity consumed by ASIC miners.
medium.com/@communitykadena/…
Important Kadena Update:
Many have asked…
“WHO CONTROLS THE PLATFORM $KDA TOKEN EMISSIONS NOW!?”
Now you know:
medium.com/@communitykadena/…
Previously, I had great trust in #PoW blockchains, believing that the economic security of holders and the physical power consumption of miners were complementary.
Centralized development companies, miners, pools, ecosystem builders, developers, holders, exchanges, liquidity market makers, futures, ASIC miner manufacturers, and the $KDA community can form a balanced ecosystem.
However, the closure of #Kadena LLC and its delisting from exchanges, leaving other participants in such a passive position, was something I hadn't anticipated.
The blockchain remains secure, blocks continue to be mined, but the outcome is unpredictable.
This outcome and the experience it presents are even more devastating than enduring a bear market; the wounds will be complex to heal quickly.
KADENA FORK INCOMING, READ CAREFULLY!
⚠️ If your $KDA is on an exchange that hasn’t confirmed support, move it to your personal wallet immediately to be part of the fork.
- Hard fork from mainnet will take place Nov 8 @ 4 AM UTC
- The fork is supported by Poolflare & Gate.io
- The fork will migrate the platform share and namespace keysets to a new community keyset, meaning the original Kadena founders will no longer have access to the emissions
It's a good thing for the $KDA community, a hard fork that is needed.
I will continue to study the #Chainweb code and still hope to launch a brand new Voonet with three parallel chains.
I am pleased to share that the KDA community is announcing a Community Take Over Fork!
The new X account is @communitykda and telegram is t.me/KdaCommunityEdition .
The fork will be in roughly block height 6,335,858.
@zelcore_io @eckoWALLET @FusionX_Flux will all be following the new chain as well as all @RunOnFlux products.
More information to follow. Power to the People!
As a $KDA holder, I've been waking up from nightmares lately.
My rational mind tells me I must stay strong, and life must go on.
I still have hope for #PoW, but where is the #KDA miners' community?
I don't know how to contact others in the community, nor how to participate in its rebuilding.
May I be allowed to speak so dejectedly?
From a bear market to a bull market, and then back to a bear market, having endured three years of bear market, even now that a bull market has arrived, it has little to do with $KDA holders.
All this has changed so quickly, the lessons so profound, it's too cruel.
The only hope is that it's #PoW;
Can the #KDA miners persevere?
