I've been thinking about lot about vtubing and me lately. This year has been a little hard one on me in terms of getting things done and I have had a few things that contributed to that. The stress of just a lot happening in my real life being the main one of them and honestly that's on me. But in this time I have been thinking a lot about my identity as a vtuber. Over the years a lot of people, including family and friends have tried to tell me what to be or how I need to be as a vtuber. What makes sense to them. Even to the point I considered rebranding after a few people told me things about this current version of me that "don't work" in their minds but the more I've thought about it the more I learnt that actually, this is the most me I can be. I love being your easily spooked paranormal investigator. I love my branding I have now. I worked hard with my talented team coming up with this character and world we've built. I love everything about this because it speaks to me and my story of where I come from. And even though yeah, I know shockingly little about the paranormal, it doesn't matter because it's part of my story but it's not my only thing. I have so much more to me than just that and while it was my past it's never going to be my soul focus for my future. I have bigger dreams than that. And that's why no matter what I'm doing my best to keep going. I might not stream the most or be the most consistent but I'm someone who tries and that will never change. 💜
