The DNC in Chicago, was never short of electric. I am honored to have attended the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, where America learned the greatness of Alabama District 2 and my unwavering support for Kamala. This inspiring journey has shown me the power of unity and shared purpose in shaping a brighter future for the places we call home. The energy at the DNC reminded me of our immense potential when we come together with a common goal. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who shared their stories, offered support, and stood with me in this fight for justice and progress. The days ahead may be challenging, but with your support, I’m confident we can create the change we seek. Thank you, DNC, for this platform and for believing in grassroots movements. Together, we will push forward, break barriers, and build an inclusive, equitable future. #FiguresForCongress #AlabamaStrong #DNC2024 #KamalaHarris #Popoutandvote

And it’s **Shomari** — but he knew that.
Remind us, how many nattys you got? Should've seen a swamp creature reference coming from you since you live in Florida. #GodBlessYou #RollTide #WhatHaveUDone #ESPN @espn

“A privileged billionaire calling a Black man in Alabama a coward – for the second time – because he won’t do what she says?” Figures said. “Is that what leadership looks like?”
It’s not. It’s not what those Christian-values look like either.
Caroleene Dobson is siding with Alabama Dems over a delegate dispute with the DNC, and she's calling on Shomari Figures a coward for not weighing in. Figures is firing back, calling Dobson the @RepMTG of Alabama. Here's the latest fiery exchange in #AL2. al.com/news/2024/08/gop-cong…
