Lost Records of FAYOUM AND AMARNA Premieres tonight! 6pm Eastern youtube.com/watch?v=LoBemwcB… Three researchers, dedicated to tracking down the evidence of humanity's oldest records, join forces in the 'Heart of Egypt'. Most tourists get to view Upper and Lower Egypt, but Middle Egypt often gets missed, despite the rich history of the region. The Fayoum Oasis includes not only the Hawara Labyrinth site, but many other pyramids and temples that hint of predynastic mysteries. Further South, the Amarna district (called Minya today), is the birthplace of modern monotheistic religion. Yeshua/Jesus and the Holy Family even lived there for a time, and it is considered sacred by Jewish Essenes, Coptic Christians, and Muslims alike. It was the holy 'City of Thoth' (Hermopolis) and also became the capitol region of King Akhenaten and Nefertiti. In this video we discuss some of the most important aspects of Fayoum and Amarna, which we will all be visiting together in Jan/Feb of 2027. You are invited to JOIN US on this once in a lifetime trip! EGYPT TOUR: archaeologicalrescue.org/egy…

If the ancient Egyptians used modern cranes, and worked 24 hours a day, they could achieve the mainstream archaeological timeline of 20-ish years. They have something fundamentally wrong when it comes to ancient Egypt.

I hate to keep saying 'coming soon', as I'm still working hard on a dozen projects that are 99% done, and always saying that they're coming soon makes me feel a lot of pressure, but this one is also coming soon. This will be an article and video interview, covering the Archaeological Rescue Foundation's insights and suggestions for Filippo Biondi, while he is in the process of scanning Hawara. You will NOT BELIEVE what I found in the surrounding areas... I've made some (potentially) major discoveries that need investigation. Something BIG is happening here. Coming soonish!

Ronald Araujo is EXACTLY what this team needed. No excuses. No nonsense. No backing down. Just a WARRIOR who gives 100% every single minute, in every single game. A defender who puts his body on the line for the badge. ALREADY a fan favourite 😍

It was a bit stormy on this morning's walk here in Glastonbury. Rain showers and very very windy.

Some more rainbow magic. Photo taken yesterday in St Michael's tower on Glastonbury Tor. The little blobs are raindrops, it wasn't easy keeping the rain off my lens 😂Despite a coat I was absolutely drenched as the rain and wind were a bit intense.

It was nice to see my rainbow photos from yesterday in the National Press today. An article about my trip up the Tor as well on the link. I'm always so impressed when they use the title Tor Blimey 😂 dailymail.com/news/article-1…

Glastonbury Tor Another misty moment from back in May 2024, the kind of morning people always seem drawn to, when the landscape softens and Avalon feels close. As the sun lifted, it formed an eye in the sky, watching over the Tor while two beams of light filtered through the crown of the tower. For a moment it felt as though the hill wasn’t just meeting the dawn, but welcoming it, stone and sunlight sharing a quiet exchange through the mist🙂 #GlastonburyTor #Somerset #Avalon #ThePhotoHour #Mist @PanoPhotos

Bison are leading one of the most remarkable ecological comebacks in North American history. For more than a century, the great herds of the American bison were fragmented, broken into isolated groups by roads, fences, and human development across the Great Plains and Yellowstone region. Now, in a powerful wildlife success story, those artificial barriers are being overcome. On their own, bison are instinctively reuniting and reopening ancient migration corridors that had been lost for over 100 years. This isn’t just movement: it’s a profound return to ancestral memory. Large, unified herds are once again flowing across the landscape as they did in centuries past. As they travel, these iconic animals act as masterful ecosystem engineers. Their powerful hooves aerate compacted soil, their selective grazing encourages the growth of diverse native plants, and their dust wallows create seasonal watering holes that benefit countless other species. In doing so, they spread nutrients and help restore the health of the grasslands. By simply allowing bison to roam freely across their historic ranges, nature is showing us that wild ecosystems recover best when their original architects are given the freedom to lead. Glastonbury Tor Going back to 23rd July, a soft mist drifting over the Somerset Levels, captured from the drone’s zoomed‑in perspective, making Glastonbury Tor feel almost within reach. Most people love these misty views, and this is one of my favourites. #GlastonburyTor #Somerset #Avalon #ThePhotoHour #Mist

A bronze ring/seal bearing the image of the Alexandrian Lighthouse was discovered in a submerged royal harbor in the Mediterranean. This is presumably in the vicinity of the sunken Herakleion Temple, which a certain friend of mine is currently diving at with a French marine archaeology team (but I'm not sure if I should be talking about that yet). I assume this was the team that made the discovery! foxnews.com/travel/sunken-ro…
