I added some features to Titanfall that mimic optical collimation! The reticle stays the same size - even when the camera zooms in or out.

So, if an object is far enough away, moving it a few inches doesn't make it that much bigger or smaller. That's why collimation looks this way!

In Titanfall, the reticle is supposed to look far out, like real life. That's why Respawn made the parallax effect. So, I took it further and added collimation simulation. Now the effect is much easier to sell -- and we have more options for smoke and mirrors! <3
