🇮🇷 Khamenei: All US, Israeli assets must be within military reach
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei called for a comprehensive update of the military target database to bring all "physical and non-physical assets" of the United States and Israel within the reach of Iran's Armed Forces.
In posts on X following a meeting with senior military commanders, Khamenei also said any level or type of threat must be met with an "immediate, impactful, and geographically unrestricted response."
The remarks come amid fears of renewed United States and Israeli strikes on Iran, with reports suggesting attacks could follow the US midterm elections.

British commentator Benjamin Moser then placed the remarks in the wider context of Israeli society, pointing to demonstrations defending Israeli soldiers accused of sexually abusing a Palestinian detainee and public rallies held in their support.
Moser questioned how people could take to the streets to defend soldiers accused of such horrific abuse, highlighting the disturbing public response to sexual violence against Palestinians.
🚨🇺🇸 A Midair helicopter collision kills 3 near Oregon airport.
Three people on board two helicopters that collided midair near an airport in northwest Oregon were killed in the incident, CNN reported, citing Yamhill County Sheriff Sam Elliott.
The crash took place at 2:15 local time and is being investigated by the US National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

I am concerned about the NZ overseas election forms, the Adobe PDF glitch: "Adobe Acrobat’s Fill & Sign tool report that the software inconsistently treats the voting circles as editable fields." It seem unsecured or compromised computers are vulnerable.
The advise to download, fill, sign, scan, and upload should have been made clearer on the govt overseas voting site.

Bolsonaro fled from Brazil to the US immediately after the elections to avoid serious money laundering charges. It's just been reported that Turmp is now issuing Visas for the family. Bolsonaro holds dual citizenship likely US/Brazil.
"The Trump administration is said to have endorsed former presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro's move to leave Brazil and signaled political asylum for the senator and his family, the senator's allies told CNN Brazil today."
"The defeated political candidate, who faces two criminal charges in Brazil, is expected to land in Florida later today", sources said. The move comes after the Brazilian Supreme Court ordered Bolsonaro to surrender his passport, barring him from leaving the country amid an ongoing investigation into a suspected money-laundering scheme. Police said it had cancelled Bolsonaro's passports after he failed to comply with the order.
Brazilian media previously revealed that Bolsonaro's escape was facilitated by a lawyer close to the family. The Argentine National Directorate for Migration announced earlier that there was no record of Bolsonaro entering the country, denying reports that the 45-year-old would transit through Argentina before departing for the United States.
