I haven’t tweeted in ages but this deserves a rent. Call centre agents (looking at you, Telkom) when I politely decline your offer and am courteous while holding the line, please don’t just hang up. It’s rude.
We have waited 17 months to move. And now we are basically camping in the new house. Not complaining. It kings excited for a working shower and all those other fun things 😬
After 17 months of waiting we are finally moving to our new house. Except the new house hasn’t been connected to power yet. It’s a day filled with chaos, nerves, excitement stress and then some. Send wine and Eskom vibes 🙏🏻
A short story about why I’m going to heaven: Got home to a delivery of a ROBOTIC VACUUM cleaner from @OneDayOnlycoza - was so excited I nearly weed my panties. Assumed hubby had bought for me. He hadn’t.
Contacted the rightful owner. She wasn’t as happy as I’d think. Honestly I was hoping she would be so grateful she would gift me Monica (yes, I have named the vacuum at this stage)

Shew but @Imaginedragons gave a performance or a lifetime last night! But the logistical organisation the concert was abysmal. We were stuck outside the FNB stadium with people literally breaking down gates to get out and then a 3 hour bus wait to get back.
Hi @Seattlecoffeeco just a shout-out to the barista at your Cedar Road branch in Fourways (didn’t get her name) who at 5 am today was as cheerful and happy and accommodating as can be even after a long Christmas shift. Give that lady a raise! She’s a keeper.
Can’t stop thinking about the little 4 year old Afrikaans girl at my photoshoot yesterday. My Afrikaans is terrible so to make her feel at ease and make conversation I said ‘ek sal jou nou nou skiet’
She wasn’t thrilled. I don’t think she warmed to me after that.
