Ambleside Online Year 2 is going well. We’re starting term 2. I love the history alignment of Little Duke, Our Island Story and Trial and Triumph. I have to feign enthusiasm for Burgess Animal book. 20 chapters on rodents is A LOT.

I never met him. That did not stop him from posting misogynistic fantasies about me “squirting out” my children, or from saying my kids, then 6, 3, and 1 “never leave the house”.
He posted a photo of our house and called it a “shithole.” I pixelated the photo in the screencap below. The harassment was bad enough that I filed a report with Richardson PD.
Mihaela Plesa’s campaign paid his company, DemSign, $37,238.57 in the 2024 cycle for advertising and consulting. That is the same @demsign account that harassed my family while calling Mihaela Plesa the “hottest” and “youngest” member of the Texas House. Her campaign has continued paying DemSign since then. He is also involved with Plano Area Democrats.
I’ll tag Plesa even though she has blocked me on X and has not responded about her vendor @plesafortexas.

Finally finished 1st grade/Ambleside Online year 1 yesterday with a lesson on Edward the Confessor at Petrified Forest National Park.
We’re traveling light with the loaded up Kindle so not much of a book stack photo but I had so much fun learning along with her. Especially Viking Tales and Trial and Triumph.

Took the bus up and down the Strip with all 4 kids a couple of times. Many colorful conversations attempted as I fought for some semblance of control. The 3 year old was handed a $5 bill at one point
I got at least 20,000 steps on the Las Vegas strip today and my 3 year old kept up with me the whole time. Probably more like 30-40,000 steps for him. That’s why I let him go HAM on the cake pops at the buffet today. He’s still going!
Feels like only yesterday I was wearing American Apparel on a girls trip! Mike Tyson was there at the Omnia! This was before 2009/The Hangover. Time is fleeting.
So far they like the world’s largest chocolate fountain at the Bellagio better than the Chihuly and the conservatory
