After a years-long investigation, Alberta RCMP Members have arrested and charged an individual with first-degree murder in connection with a 2023 homicide in northern Alberta. Kudos to the Members whose work helped bring this case forward. #KeepAlbertaRCMP cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/…

On National Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial Day, we honour the far too many RCMP Members who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, including those who served and protected communities across Alberta. #RCMPNeverForget Photo: RCMP in Alberta (Banff RCMP Detachment)

Recently, RCMP Members from the Wood Buffalo detachment spent the afternoon collecting donations for the Wood Buffalo Food Bank. They helped fill a police cruiser with more than 1,085 lbs of food, along with cash and gift card donations that will help support local families.

Albertans have been asked to consider major policing changes without seeing a complete public cost breakdown. Any discussion about changing policing models should be based on facts, not assumptions. Make your voice heard. Send a letter: keepalbertarcmp.ca/get-invol…

Some of the most important police work can happen at the end of a driveway. A child sets up a lemonade stand. RCMP Members stop by for a cup. A conversation starts. A memory is made! Photo credit: Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Alberta (Olds RCMP Detachment)

We know the Alberta Sheriffs Police Service has already received significant funding & is expected to cost hundreds of millions more in the coming years. Before moving forward, the government should release a comprehensive feasibility study. Send a letter: keepalbertarcmp.ca/get-invol…
