Non -citizens voting is already a Federal crime.

Eight days until the midterms, and I've noticed something remarkable: Washington can approve a political ad in under three seconds.
Every candidate in America can look into a camera and say "I approve this message" before the first sip of coffee. Meanwhile, ask the same town to approve a highway, a pipeline, or a permit for a backyard shed, and the answer arrives sometime after your grandchildren retire.
I'm not saying government can't move fast. I'm saying it knows exactly which paperwork is worth hurrying.
My modest proposal: run the permit office like a campaign office, where everyone returns calls and nobody ever sleeps. Then watch the road crews show up on time. 😂

Texas, this is the week. Early voting ends THIS Friday, October 30. 🗳️
Turnout is running strong all over. Here in Texas, early voting is reportedly beating past midterms. New York cast close to double its 2022 opening-day total.
People are showing up because they care about where this country is headed. That's a beautiful thing.
One practical tip: before you hit cast, double-check your screen AND your printed ballot. After some voters reported their touchscreen choices changing, officials asked everyone to slow down and review. It takes 10 extra seconds, so take them.
As the wife of a Marine who served 25 years, I don't take this freedom lightly. Men and women bled for that little ballot.
