Will Buxton has been one of the best additions to IndyCar in the last decade. For so many reasons. Him “getting” Indy is just one of them.

Peter Luger's steakhouse, a Brooklyn institution since 1887, is legendary for its dry-aged USDA Prime beef, particularly the porterhouse steak served family-style. Their cooking method involves high-heat broiling to create a charred, caramelized crust while keeping the interior juicy and flavorful, with minimal seasoning—just salt and clarified butter. Steaks are dry-aged in-house for weeks, enhancing tenderness and umami. At home, approximate this by salting a thick cut, broiling at 500°F+ for 4-5 minutes per side, slicing, brushing with clarified butter, and finishing under the broiler to your preferred doneness (medium-rare is classic). Serve sizzling hot with sides like German fried potatoes or creamed spinach.
Have you tried cooking a steak this way before? How do you like to cook your steak?

Ron Howard’s Backdraft rules. Consider this cast: Kurt Russell, Robert De Niro, Billy Baldwin, Scott Glenn, and the late Donald Sutherland. Casting doesn’t get better. I’m also partial to stories about firefighters, they usually make for great cinema. Vintage ‘90s filmmaking.

NEW: French judge Jezabel Dabouis accused of rigging figure skating event against the United States to give France a gold medal.
Viewers were shocked when France's Laurence Fournier Beaudry & Guillaume Cizeron took gold over America's Madison Chock & Evan Bates.
Five of the nine judges gave Chock and Bates the top score, while the other four gave Beaudry and Cizeron the top score.
Thanks to the French judge, however, Beaudry and Cizeron were able to take gold, considering she gave Team USA a much lower score than the other judges.
"Not only did she judge the French pair 6.45 points higher than the mean, but she undervalued Chock/Bates by -7.19 — giving us a +13.64 delta favoring France over USA in the final score. This represents a staggering 6.37 standard deviation z-score difference across the event," reported SBNation.
"There has been a consistent pattern from Jézabel Dabois over multiple events of juicing scores for F. Beaudry/Cizeron in the ice dance, while filing low scores for their opponents," the outlet continued.
"When it comes to the Olympic Games, in which France won gold by just 1.43 points, there is no doubt that the scoring of Dabois was the key differentiator in deciding who won the event."
During an interview with CBS, Chock and Bates, who are married, called for more transparent judging.
This must be investigated.

What's wrong with Jacob Collier?
Absolutely nothing. He's an absolute genius; a true musical wizard. He doesn't just play for the crowd; he invites them to become his "Audience Choir," guiding thousands of strangers through lush harmonies, and pure improvisation. Voices unite; total strangers bonding as one massive instrument. A shared, spine-tingling experience that creates memories you'll carry forever, reminding us how music can dissolve barriers and bring humanity together. Pure magic. 💫🎶💫
Can you even script a finer start????
