This week's Sheffield Shield matches are staggered for some reason @ENG2Stars1Day. Today is SA v WA, tomorrow is Tasmania v NSW and Saturday is Queensland v Victoria. The test match is well poised too.

Sheffield Shield is back in action this week for all you red ball fans including @ENG2Stars1Day. Fergus O'Neil was most economical but wicketless last time for Victoria. This round he's just as economical but has 4 wickets so far.

For those of you missing red ball cricket @bracecricket @ENG2Stars1Day @Kippercricks the Sheffield Shield started this week. Notts favourite Fergus O'Neil is playing for Victoria v S Australia. A few highlights are on YouTube. We could keep tabs on up-and-coming Ashes players.

My ride #cycling took me through Beeston this morning. The town seems to have embraced the street art culture lately. This guy was born in Carlton, Nottingham and went to school in Chilwell.

Stopped to have a word with this guy on my ride out #cycling today. He told me he wasn't the best football manager in the business but he was certainly in the top one.

Tackled Donkey Hill #cycling this morning. Supposed to be Nottingham's steepest street. It's not very long though. I think Somersby Road is harder so I went and did that as well.

Up at dawn for a hilly 30 miler #cycling just so I can reach this milestone.

Lovely day for an early morning ride #cycling around the Derbyshire hills. Just 25 miles in a little over 2 hrs before the traffic builds up.
