You see the type of people hired by the state It seems to relish an opportunity to employ criminally minded, deceitful creatures. They will do exactly what they are told to do. Our governing body - the people we allow make decisions that impact almost every facet of our lives - seem content on being dishonourable in their actions. We permit being gambled by others' whims and destructive actions. Yet we have example after example of totally reckless and malignant actions. Yet we try to absorb and persist instead of wanting to actually live. We are in an existential coma
NEW - Irish disinformation and "fake news" expert Tom Felle, appointed by Ireland’s online speech regulator as an expert assessor, falsely claimed a journalism doctorate from City, University of London that was never awarded.

This is radical - in that it gets to the root of today's moral confusion. There are many who have are so spellbound by labels, categories and 'groups', that the misery attached to life today remains unfelt. We are living in our heads and have become cut off from the world of feeling: the body. There is clear thinking here from the Celtic Warrior.
I'm struggling to see a difference in these scenarios. Militia is militia. Slaughter is slaughter. Oppression is oppression. Dressing it up as governments doesn't make it any different to gangs and criminals doing the very same thing.

Yes. And beginning with addressing the tax question is a paramount. No politician can be taken seriously unless this is up there as a priority. You work and your money is stolen from you before it ever gets to you. And you have no choice in the amount taken or what it is spent on.
Big lesson for Right-leaning parties here. How to reduce cost of living for regular working people. The Left will focus on giving more money to their supporters (people on welfare, for example) – at the expense of regular working people. Right-leaning parties must become more “radical” – i.e. more uncompromising, more dedicated to rewarding their supporters, more dedicated to reducing the power of the Left (by mass-remigration, for example).

One staggering element of how we as a people care for and rear our children is that we have accepted that fathers are surplus to requirements. Children suffer as a result of this - boys largely, but girls too. Girls who grow up with no steady presence of their father tend to have greater levels of anxiety, eating disorders and depression. But most noticeably, they tend to struggle with acceptance of their physical appearance. Look around at all the young females who destroy their hair, face and body with chemicals and colours. Boys become destructive and chaotic when their wily desire for action is not filtered through the wisdom of a caring father and his wisdom and experience. Irish men have become putty and accepted it 'happy wife happy life'.
"A total moral collapse": Senator Sharon Keogan has called for Tusla to be abolished and rebuilt from the ground up after the High Court heard that a 16-year-old boy missing from its care had swallowed 37 wraps of crack cocaine and was using fentanyl. gript.ie/moral-collapse-keog…

All protests or disagreement against this or that government action(s) is pointless whilst we continuously accept and defend the stealing of our earnings weekly/monthly by those we argue against. That is a central hub that all can rally around. 'I want to decide how much of my earned wealth I hand over for the maintaining and building of my nation'.. It begins and ends with that.

Many Irish men, women and children gave up their love, their life and their futures to assert their freedom to think and be what way felt most natural to them. Now we seem to have no problem throwing people in jail and destroying peoples' lives because they are carrying that brazen flame of their ancestors - thought and tongue. We are a horribly disfigured people who would have been unrecognizable to the best this land birthed.

There is a taint which Irish morality is imbued with. Where common sense is viewed as indistinguishable from law. Personal feelings about right and wrong are not separated from what is, or should be, the law. Think on people you know, perhaps yourself too. I am sure we all know people that feel that because they feel a thing to be bad-manners, unsocial, impolite, scummy, reckless, or objectionable, that it should also be recongised - as punished - in and by the law. When common sense is grounded in the dignity and sanctity of individual choice and expression of one's nature, this blending of common sense - or social consensus - with the law can be a mighty power for Irish people. Such a unity in moral perspective would have aloud for a tribal island where battles were familiar but morality was still upheld. But what we have today is far from organic. The common-sense is artificial, manufactured and seeded into each of our hearts and minds from a myriad of directions. And this leads to situations such as Mr Carey is currently experiencing: having his freedom stolen from him because he has the 'dangerous' idea of reading the lay of the land which led him to form an opinion and express it. This is something new, relative to the age of Irish history at least. Where words can cost a man his family and freedom. For most of Irish history - and we know this from reading and knowing our ancient tales, which show us what we valued and what we thought - this would have seen as an abomination. A slap in the face of the creative force of life which finds self-reflection in man's expression of freedom. In a nutshell - Irish people have become so severed (and we must accept our role in this) from out past that we no longer remember how we felt about anything. What meant the most to us. We forgot who we were and who we wanted to be. And so we are easily moulded. Today's Irish are 'new', we are allowing ourselves to be morphed into reprehensible cowards who have no value on life - 10s of thousands of babies eradicated - nor on freedom or even thinking - jail for a thought. There will be many who feel that Mr Carey's words were distasteful, or shocking. And they will allow this disapproval of the words to mask their cowardice. So long as they object to the words they can claim that the law was working correctly. Because to see it for what it is - loss of life, family and freedom for thinking and speaking - will dare each of us to confront having a weak man's mentality and morality soaked into our marrow.

Excellent read. We are too quick to pass the buck and avoid the responsibility we all hold for the rot that permeates our lands and minds.
I have 8 years experience in the Canadian university system. Almost half of that was during the height of "Woke 1.0". I was also within the liberal arts (philosophy, Greek & Roman studies). University students are affected in their attitudes and ideology primary by peers, not professors. They go to parties, they join social clubs, and they are unleashed from their parents. For young adults who have never had any form of real independence before and have been extremely sheltered, this can have a dramatic affect. Secondarily they are exposed to ideas that can break apart their often patchwork and ill-conceived conception of the world that their parents never properly helped them develop, picked up purely through some comments around the house and Fox News playing somewhere in the background. Your children have agency, and so do you, if you choose to exercise it. Why didn't you "program" them? Why are you expecting an 18 year old to automatically have a fully worked and unshakable concept of the world if you didn't teach it to them? And if that worldview can be so easily destroyed by a couple university courses, then how powerful or truthful is it? I have never seen a university professor make someone mentally unwell, or even directly change their political views. Most interactions with professors are limited, especially in early years due to the large class sizes. Most professors I have had try to present themselves in a politically neutral way, with maybe the occasional joke or jab at a conservative political figure. Professors will expose young adults to information and ideas they may not have considered through their course material and assignments, but it is always the individual who makes the decision whether to agree or disagree with those ideas. The worst thing I experienced was a contract instructor (non tenured) going on a rant about how racist JRR Tolkien was, and fantasy in general. I argued the point with him before the class, then promptly dropped so I wouldn't have to put up with his stupidity. I submitted a complaint against him. On the other side I had a professor who was a right-wing anti-communist who used to go on rants against The Chinese Communist Party for absolutely no reason, and with no relevance to the course material. You should be building up your kids so that they are mentally prepared to interact with and counter wrong ideas. If your beliefs are not able to stand up to push-back in real life interactions and require your own children to be sheltered away from other ideas in order to be maintained, they are either not fully understood or they are not based on truth. Yet frankly the girl below seems perfectly fine and healthy in both images. Tattoos are not my thing, but young people do go through such periods where they want to form an image. Would someone make the same post about a young boy and then compare it t when he became a biker dude, or a skin-head with a swastika tat on his neck? Was his professor to blame?

What seems evident from this case is the fact that Brand's own words from his published biographies were used against him. It is not hard to see that this is one of the agreements one makes when they sell their soul (image, reputation and integrity) for money and fame. Just as entrance to certain gangs requires one to get their hands dirty first. Induction to the circles of the 'celebrity' - a word with a 14th century meaning of 'solemn rite' - requires a pact and an initiation. It appears that Brand - and perhaps many others - essentially dig their own graves by publishing words, or being recorded, that can later incriminate them should they turn out to no longer have a use for the cult. Or should they begin to pose a danger. Just a thought.
Russell Brand verdict in full. Count 1: Rape - Not Guilty Count 2A: Attempted Indecent Assault - Not Guilty Count 3: Sexual Assault - Guilty Count 4: Rape - Not Guilty Count 5: Sexual Assault - Guilty Count 6: Rape - Guilty Count 7: Sexual Assault - Guilty

There is a war going on for the very soul and future of mankind. Rising addictions, suicides, cancers, stresses, illnesses, psychological disorders etc are symptoms of each of our body's registering the threat. Yet many choose to believe they can stand on the sidelines and enjoy the beers and burgers as others battle it out. But untouched by it none of us are. We are far too unaware of circumstances and machinations we are under the target of.
BREAKING: At least 14 flights across Europe are forced to change course, land early or receive fighter-jet escorts following a series of bomb threats. The disruption stretches across multiple countries. Italian fighter jets escort one passenger plane to Rome, while another flight departing Dublin is redirected to a French military base. Flights from Warsaw, Milan, Copenhagen, Madrid and London are among those affected. Despite searches of several aircraft, authorities report finding no explosives. | @foxandfriends @Jeff_Paul Download the FOX News app for the latest details: foxnews.com/download?intcmp=…

In this age curtained with many veils Knowing what is true, what is twisted truth and what is false is incredibly difficult to ascertain. All roads must be walked Any and all possibilities should remain on the table. Because as much as we like to sneer at those who offer something that seems lunatic to our understanding, we simply do not know.

This man is speaking like he knows that the Democrats will pass and support what he puts forward Imagine for second of what this man has said for years is actually true 'They rigged 2020' 'We have it all' 'We caught them all' What if this is the case and he has intelligence proving that his opponents did indeed plan to, or actually cheated, and what if he also had other leverage over many of them? Would there be any better way at uniting a nation than to have the opposing side white-mailed into supporting and backing their enemy. That would be a hell of a move. And knowing how little any of us actually KNOW This is a possibility. Hysteria aside, now we wait and watch what happens next and refuse the chaos from others who allow their emotions be dictated by one event.
Reporter: “Vice President Vance says the reason Republicans lost last night, was the war in Iran.” President Trump: “Well, I think it's largely true because it drove the gasoline up a little bit short-term. And probably that's, probably it's true. But at the same time, if I had it to do again, I'd have to do it again. Because long-term, it's the only answer. You can't let Iran have a nuclear weapon.” Reporter: “Do you feel like it was worth it?” President Trump: “I do, yeah. I mean, well, you have no choice. I mean, I thought the oil would go up a lot more, and I did it on that basis. You have no choice. You have to do it. You can't let Iran have a nuclear weapon. Or everything that you see here someday might not exist. And maybe this building might be the only one that does.” “I'll get along probably with the Democrats, unless they want to be destructive. But they have the power of the veto. So if we don't like what they're doing, they've already called, and they want to talk about things, and that's fine. But yeah, people, the Iran thing we had to do, and we continue to do it. We have tremendous oil flowing out of the Hormuz right now. At the beginning, there was none. And probably that's the primary reason. The price, not the war, the price.” The war was NOT WORTH losing the Senate for AT LEAST the next 6 years. If we don’t elect a Republican President in 2028 America is TOAST.

There is a pain in me that seems to only feel recognised when I imagine an Ireland that was not so trapped by the clock. One where we actively choose to use our money as a tool for magical change. We invest in our choice and money the idea that handing it over is a gesture toward creating an Ireland that is self nourishing. Money as praise for another's dedication to a craft, to their hours and years of perfecting their talent. Where cheapness is not the deciding factor on where we send our wealth. Craft and ability is rewarded in our paper and coins. Where we can feel good knowing that we have exchanged our time, effort and choice (money is a symbol for this) for the benefit of owing something of quality. Quality created by hands we may know and hands that have mastered the art they have been put to. Call that what you like. But that soothes this hole in me.

NGOs are used to engage in activity that is illegal for governments to engage in. British Empire also used chartered 'companies' such as the East India Company etc. Same idea.

We get so caught up in wanting to be right, and moreso, not wanting to be wrong, that we almost kneejerk meet events with an already decided 'must be fake, it's AI' etc But the lean toward cynicism and skepticism is rarely balanced with 'what if what I am seeing is real'. So I pose this to you. Look at this boy's face, body, eyes. His body looks rigid 'scared stiff' comes to mind. His eyes are locked open, as often occurs when we have bared witness to something we cannot quantify. Like witnessing a terrible accident, we cannot look away. Ask yourself 'if this is real, then what has this boy seen'. The sign of intelligence is being able to hold two (or more) conflicting perspectives without needing to accept either. We cannot come to the truth if we are incapable, or unwilling, to imagine anything beyond what we want to believe. Ask yourself again, what has this boy witnessed. And what does that mean when compared to the onslaught of pro-Zelenskey propoganda - which is clearly has been as the lack of any critique of him or his decisions testifies to. When you are told, endlessly, that there is but one side of a coin, you can be sure you are being hoodwinked.

Perhaps national protests in villages, towns and cities would offer something new than a big march to Dublin. Local councillors, mayors etc have had little to no pressure on them.
