Gander airport is one of the coolest I’ve ever been in. Not to mention all the really interesting visitors Gander has hosted, including the masses on 9/11. The 2nd floor features an exhibit about all of them. And the city is home to my bestie from way back!
Showing my family the place where their great grandparents worked.
The 1940s Gander airport was a booming military facility.
I love making time for history and passing along information with the next generation.

We are world leaders in the export of many agricultural commodities outside of blueberries, but my fav fact from this list might be the letters to Santa

Can you guess what the other Carman connection to the Milan Cortina Olympics is? Hint: She is competing in a first-time event for women at these games…
The good folks of Carman, Manitoba and many others in the Pembina Valley region were familiar with Patrick Fischer long before he became an Olympian. Read about the role his time in Manitoba played in his journey to Milan in this story from colleague @mikemcintyrewpg 👇
I cried like three times before the opening ceremonies even began! This does not bode well for my emotions over the next two weeks. Thanks @CBC
This is an excellent analysis of the writing task. The heart of good writing is within you. But AI makes sense as a partner to make you better (some ideation, help with copy editing).
AI can speed up a lot of things. Great writing isn’t one of them. To produce something worth reading, you still need time, space, and a human brain. forbes.com/sites/aytekintank…

#ChloeZhao spoke a lot about how #WeFoundLove helped SAs, Crew & Cast keep spirits high during #Hamnet & she asked #Rihanna for the song rights to share these little moments.
Apparently, it worked!
Worth the fight!
Honoured to have been able to work with Alanis on one of her projects a long time ago. She is a force!
And this is work at least partly done by our local @um_research

There is a ton of work taking place on Parliament Hill. Very interesting to see behind the construction barricades.
🔍Approximately 365,000 stones make up Centre Block’s facade and every single one is being examined closely during the building’s rehabilitation.
💡Fun fact: Nepean sandstone — sourced from a quarry that operated on the western outskirts of Ottawa — forms the bulk of the facade and gives Centre Block its rich honey colour.

Whenever I post about moving to Manitoba the comments inevitably turn to how bad it is. And I have to tell you, after doing rigorous research and analysis on this, my finding is that-
The “haters” are simply mad that Manitoba (and Winnipeg) are now objectively cool.
