I know plenty that are for a Constitutional Convention.
Maybe a decade ago, but now?

Self fulfilling prophecy?
"...sustained public discussion of those exact scenarios across media and betting platforms can enlarge the share of the population that treats the possibility as realistic and imminent."
Prediction Markets + Podcasters Amplify Insurrection Narrative!
The media ecosystem is the same diffusion mechanism color-revolution models have long relied on to move ideas into broader acceptance.
The episode discussed “Will Donald Trump Invoke the Insurrection Act or Martial Law? And other doomsday scenarios aired around October 2, 2026, roughly three weeks before today.
Universal Basic Kalshi Guys is a weekly political prediction-market podcast focused on Kalshi contracts, politics, and cognitive biases.
The discussion stayed on market pricing, historical parallels as it relates to the the possibility of Trump invoking the Insurrection Act post 2026 midterms, suspending habeas corpus, and the potential of Governors enacting Martial law, rather than operational planning.
Evan Mandery is a professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice at CUNY, a Harvard College and Harvard Law alumnus, and author of Poison Ivy: How Elite Colleges Divide Us and other works. He is a long time investor and social scientist and the primary host focused on prediction markets, law, and higher education inequality.
Michael Horahan is a co-host and investor involved in the show’s framing and market analysis.
McKenna Conlin is a contributor and entertainment and legal expert who participates in discussions.
Amir Rasulov is the producer and occasional on air contributor who handles production and joins market focused segments.
Mandery, who is relatively quiet in the episode, covered his deep concern about democracy’s survival odds, now tempered by optimism from items like the Insurrection Victims Fund treated as a Republican red line, and Trump’s pattern of self interest and disloyalty eroding sustained support.
Mandry stressed non certainty and non zero risk of extreme action, while ranking AI risks higher than democracy failure.
There is no publicly facing information linking any of these individuals to the inside groups of former USAID and DRG democracy officers, United Democracy Alliance, Renew to Thrive, National Security Leaders for America, or related networks discussed in DataRepublican’s recent Democracy Files materials.
Public records, academic profiles, podcast credits, and prior checks show them as academics, investors, and podcast participants focused on prediction markets, not the operational planning, red line documents, or NGO coordination described in the Data Republican drops.
At the same time, sustained public discussion of those exact scenarios across media and betting platforms can enlarge the share of the population that treats the possibility as realistic and imminent.
Although the speakers stayed more on topic of the prediction market, some bias did appear to percolate during the discussion.
This is the same diffusion mechanism color-revolution models have long relied on to move ideas from specialized planners into broader acceptance.
In that limited sense, the podcast contributes to the circulation of the topic even while remaining outside the documented planning groups.
That's a whole new ballgame.
A winning one!
What if musicians didn’t NEED a record label to build an audience, make money, or survive?
@JeffDornik says Pickax is building toward exactly that.
Artists owning the relationship. Artists keeping control.
Would you ditch the label if you could?

The Democrats have become completely and utterly radicalized to violence.
These groups of domestic terrorists plotting the assassination of political opponents need to be crushed and brought to justice.

🚨🚨 THE ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK / THE DEMOCRACY FILES: A PRIMER 🚨
I will be using this thread to track all drops, so bookmark it.
I spent most of yesterday backing everything (now 312 gigabytes) up in various sources and getting the materials out to others. I also produced an AI video (below) to explain the whole thing to others are not on 𝕏 - feel free to distribute.
Here's the primer:
USAID, the foreign aid agency, had a democracy office. Inside the agency, it was called DRG.
Officially, DRG administered "democracy assistance." They'd go inside countries they thought were sliding into authoritarianism and help the opposition there. That assistance included election monitoring, judicary support, independent media, and civil society building.
You may have heard the term "color revolution." The model comes from Serbia in 2000, where trained student activists brought down Milosevic with the help of Western governments, after sustained protests. With the help of USAID's democracy office, this model was implemented in many other countries to topple governments: Georgia's "Rose Revolution" in 2003, Ukraine's "Orange Revolution" in 2004, and many more.
Then last year, DOGE shut down USAID. But the USAID democracy office didn't stop. They formed a group called the Democracy Renewal Group, the same initials as their office (USAID Democracy, Human Rights, Governance). Their goal: apply their own playbook to the United States itself.
This goal became a plan, called Renew American Democracy (RAD). It invoked the "4 B's" framework. Block - use lawfare and protests to make life harder for the Trump administration. Bridge & Belong - control dialogue and win people over. The final and most important B is Build. Build means redesigning the American government itself, and the crisis is the opening.
In their own words:
"We can take that breakdown moment and leverage it for a big structural reform, you know, refounding moment." - Danielle Reiff, DRG lead.
Calls show DRG working alongside DSA on ideas of creating a different government, one that does away with the Constitution itself.
DRG does not run the Block operations. They hand it to UDA, the United Democracy Alliance. One organizer calls it a "huge galaxy": lawsuits, street protests, non-cooperation. They list No Kings, Indivisible, MoveOn, 50501, and many other mega-activist NGOs among their members.
Another organizer calls UDA Erica Chenoweth's project. Chenoweth is the Harvard professor behind the three-and-half-percent rule of regime change: get that share of a country's populace onto the streets, and historically, the movement wins.
The UDA is very "hush-hush." They have no website, no roster, no filings.
Then come the red lines: things the Trump administration could do, such as calling the Insurrection Act on protesters, that would mean that the federal government, in their words, "crosses the threshold into illegitimacy." Nobody voted on those lines. There was no public debate. These red lines were developed within secretive working groups, and in a paper addressed to governors and staff.
In the words of Reiff/DRG:
"So that if there is a red line crossed in terms of a Constitutional crisis, like everyone's already pre-organized. And so Mike Smith actually said, he goes, oh, you guys have the day after tomorrow plan."
Cross a line, and the paper's options include states refusing to lend their resources to federal officials, and governors convening what it calls a "Third Continential Congress."
Running the UDA's Insurrection Act working group: Rear Admiral Mike Smith (RET) of National Security Leaders of America (NSL4A). NSL4A is also credited with operationalizing UDA, the blocking operations. NSL4A consists of about 1,600 ex-officers, spies, diplomats. They're turning red lines into indicators and running a situation room to monitor them throughout the midterms and beyond.
The NSL4A's lawyers told them to stop recording meetings in case of subpoenas. But the rest of the network continued to record. DRG works in conjunction with Renew to Thrive (R2T), which ended up accidentally publishing 400+ calls and thousands of documents. These calls and documents were never meant for our eyes, but it's them, on tape.
Thousands of NGOs and billions of dollars are involved in this endeavor. Most of them believe they're saving democracy. The problem is that people who spent their careers deciding when other countries' governments had lost their legitimacy wrote that test for ours, in private, and planned for what comes after.
Who decides when your government is legitimate?

Next time a stranger at a bar asks if you're a patriot, do not say yes.
Chase Hughes walks through a hypothetical recruitment, and it starts with someone telling you he loves your podcast and then asking whether you'd consider yourself a patriot. That first yes is what he builds everything else on - your identity.
Next he asks if you'd be willing to look at something that might be uncomfortable. Then he shows you your browsing history and webcam captures from your phones and computers, offers to keep it all out of the public eye, and puts $20,000 a month on the table. All you have to do is keep a few people off the show and leave a few things out, for your country.
What gets me is that the protection covers more than your reputation. It also hands you a story you can live with, where every concession counts as service.
"They don't build influencers. They find the ones who are already successful and recruit them."
Apparently the benefits package includes getting to keep calling yourself independent.
So be honest, has anybody here ever been approached with an indecent proposal?
The Senate is not the only must-not lose, but we can't lose incumbent red governors not the open seats - paint them red!
The DNC has taken their J6 plan from 2020 and made a few tweaks. The useful idiots are waiting for their marching orders.
‼️This isn’t just about the Senate.
The same ballot decides who controls key governors’ mansions—and with them redistricting, state policy, and the ability to stop the left’s slow creep at every level.
Democrats are already pouring millions into open and competitive races (Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Nevada, Ohio, Iowa and more).
Confirm your registration, read the full ballot, and vote Republican up and down the ticket on November 3. Holding every level is how we lock in the progress.

🚨This mega🧵 shows the massive problem in psych evals undermining immigration enforcement. 🚨
Woke Leftist psychologists use psych evals to block deportation by exploiting loopholes in immigration law. Example: in asylum cases, a psych eval diagnosing PTSD supports a claim of past persecution, which is required to get asylum.
