As we get deeper into #HOTD keep in mind when you hear how different the events were in the book - F&B was written over a century after the war by a maester based on accounts from sources who all had biases and self-interests. Inconsistencies were intentional. #HouseOfTheDragon
Hoping they go with a map intro for season 3 #HOTD
I think this is where all the forces are at the end of season 2 -
@b4thedragonpod

I was deeply hoping Rhaena would happen upon a small girl mid-attempting to tame Sheepstealer. She would let go of her hopes for a dragon of her own to help the girl finish her efforts. Rhaena would then truly accept her part in the Story as having value without riding a dragon.

Rhaenyra's replacement handmaid was giving me @GretaThunberg vibes - next episode she'll be explaining how bad dragon flame is for the environment while brushing Rhaenyra's hair 🌲🔥🐲
Are the writers implying Alyssa is the "duck" in the analogy? Is that supposed to be a callback or are duck and goose always served together so they are easy to compare? 🦆🪿🍗
The smallfolk in KL have to choose the least moldy fruit to eat, while Criston Cole is treating his sword to a lemony-fresh scrub 😡 Rise up, my thousand thousand!

Obviously Tywin is the peak of cunning but it’s not a fair comparison since Tywin had the history of Otto and all subsequent hands from which to learn. 🦁>🗼
More costume design goodness! Lords Celtigar and Staunton displaying their house sigils proudly on their heraldic badges! @b4thedragonpod #HouseOfTheDragonHBO

Helaena is locked on to Aegon. She stares at him from the moment he kneels on the dais to the instant the crown is placed on his head. Then she pointedly turns away, refusing to even look at him until she must offer a bow, after which she quickly reverts to looking away 👀😒
