I remember growing up my #VeryAsian surname was mocked, ridiculed. They mocked my Taiwanese immigrant parents & their not-so-perfect English. Now I say that name to a TV audience every AM -- in perfect English.  Proud to be #VeryAsian, celebrating start of #AAPI Heritage Month
