A major cheat code in life: Being a pleasure to deal with. Kind when others aren’t. Calm when things go sideways. Reliable under pressure. Intelligence alone is overrated. Be someone who lightens the load for folks around them. People value people who make their lives easier.

This is the “mistake”: “No one else [aside from Schatz] has reached out to me yet,” Lujan added. Klobuchar might as well be complaining about the weather.
SCHATZ racks up early support to succeed Dick Durbin as the No. 2 Senate Democrat, with eight public endorsements. KLOBUCHAR calls it a “mistake” to be talking about something 1.5 yrs away. w/⁦@frankthorp⁩ ⁦@news_jul⁩ ⁦@kate_santaliz⁩ nbcnews.com/politics/congres…

The horrific arson attack on the Governor’s Residence—just hours after @GovernorShapiro hosted a Passover seder— was an act of hatred. Attempts to injure or kill lawmakers or public officials, regardless of motive, are attacks on democracy itself. Gov. Shapiro and I may not agree on many policies, but we can agree on something more fundamental: violence has no place in American politics.

Despite the rise of MAGA media outlets, Trump still loves legacy news. From inauguration day to mid March, Trump cited news stories in 206 posts on Truth Social; 135 of those citations referred to mainstream outlets. Nearly half (101) Murdoch-owned. narrativestrategies.com/news…

Desperation time. Imagine the strategy sesh here. "Best way to reverse the damage with progressives is to talk with Whoopi and attack small business owners for wanting to keep 50% of their money." AOC clearly closing in.
Schumer mocks "greedy" Americans who want to keep more of their own money: "Their attitude is, 'I made my money all by myself. How dare your government take my money from me?'"

“If you’re Trump, one of the strategic questions is: ‘DOGE is getting all the attention. I’m doing all this important work on other issues, is that OK?’ Or do you want to see the other issues get more attention?” @ScottJenningsKY tells @POLITICO. tinyurl.com/57hrtvj8

Why not be bold and ask for a 0-hour workweek? I wonder how blue-collar Americans would feel about white-collar workers demanding a 32-hour workweek.

Surprisingly?
U.S. Senators are surprisingly weird. It's a weird job that attracts weird people. Like being a mortician or something.

This suggests Newsom is ok with bureaucratic red tape in every other situation besides catastrophic wildfires
NEW: Just issued an Executive Order that will allow victims of the SoCal fires to not get caught up in bureaucratic red tape and quickly rebuild their homes. We are also extending key price gouging protections to help make rebuilding more affordable.
