Mr Ruto has turned Kenya into Haiti! The main reason Alex Kiprotich was released a few hours after his abduction is that the dash cam captured the violent, armed police officers who grabbed him and were likely going to torture and kill him, like many other victims. Kenyan police have killed three people every day since Ruto became president.

Yesterday we spent a whole day and entire night negotiating, going back and forth to find a solution to the Kenya Airport workers strike. My sincere apologies to all who were inconvenienced due to this strike and also to airport workers who felt injured and in our view, deserved a hearing and improvement of their welfare. Thanks to the Mombasa Civil Aviation team & tower for clearing my flight (5Y-MCM) so that I could fly to Nairobi for the meeting. Thanks to all institutions: SRC, Jambo Jet and KAUW (the union) and other Government institutions. Special recognition to my brilliant and super patient colleague @davis_chirchir and PSs: the smart and organized @Terry_Mbaika, the experienced & efficient @PSMwadime (who also led us in prayers), our brilliant staff and the Union leaders. We are extremely grateful to Hon. Francis Atwoli’s wisdom and his patience, staying with until 5:30 in the morning. a man full of life and energy and at 3:30 am, @AtwoliDza was entertaining us with a Rhumba dance - a real maestro.
