How much time are they even saving by not memorizing addition and multiplication tables? There are not that many pairs of single-digit numbers to remember.

Self-insurance is another incentive to link employment to health insurance.

The ACA mandates that companies with 50+ employees offer coverage. The company purchases insurance pre-tax.
My understanding is that the individual exchange subsidy is generally smaller than the value of the tax the employer avoids by paying premiums. Correct me if I'm wrong.

How does the ACA stealthily break the link between employment and healthcare?
I can only name a few provisions in the ACA. One of them is the employer mandate.

It is not 100% independent, though. Your critiques were in its training set, and it definitely had access to them.

An asset with a marginal effective income tax of 100% has zero value. Because of the tax, the value of assets must decrease so that their returns are greater than the tax.
GPU algorithms can be (and most are) deterministic. When the same algorithms are run on a CPU, they are also non-deterministic.
The algorithms the OP linked to are computing the equivalent of 1.75+2 some times and other times 2+2.
If you want to use a broader definition of a GPU to include the software algorithm, then nothing that executes software is deterministic.
The OP is even more specific about the FPU and not the whole GPU being non-deterministic. Except for rare radiation effects, that is false.
That is a non-deterministic algorithm. The FPU is still deterministic. If you give the GPU two different computations, it can deterministicly give two different results.

They are not quite 100% deterministic. They can have bit flips from radiation. It is rare on earth. However, large clusters get bit errors frequently because they have thousands of GPUs.

Is that a good event or the end of something bad? If it counts, so does the end of a war.

Not insane. This is the most basic and well-known covert channel. It has been exploited since at least the 1980s. It is super fast and super easy to implement. Anyone who puts any thought into covert channels assumes this exists.

A better measure of payload is "wing" area and air speed. The max gross of an airplane is constrained by these two.
Volume grows with the cube of span and lift/gross weight grows with the square. A 747 has a higher volume to max gross ratio than a 737.

Good conversation. I wonder if the labor and economic restrictions when the Turks came in the 1970s were looser than they are today. Coworkers and classmates are two of the biggest assimilation forces.

Is this a case of theory vs. practice?
In practice, opaque bureaucracies assign your property value with little recourse to the homeowner. Overlapping school districts, transit areas, and municipalities set the rate. Small constituencies tack on bonds.

Also, except at the equator, longitudinal lines are not straight. North of the equator, driving due west requires a slow turn to the left. Even the equator is just a segment of a circle centered at the center of the Earth that requires constantly turning "downward".
