I still get chills every time I see footage of the 2011 Japan tsunami. The scariest part isn't the height of the waves, but how quickly the sea turns into a destruction machine. 😨
This is footage of the tsunami hitting Miyako, Japan, on March 11, 2011, after a magnitude 9.0 earthquake rocked the Tohoku region.
Watch the water. Tsunamis don't always come like giant waves in movies. Sometimes they look like a massive flood that just keeps rising, flowing fiercely, and sweeping away anything in its path.
I'm amazed there are still people who underestimate tsunamis just because the waves look small.
Bro, it's not just the water height that kills—it's the current, the debris, and the sheer force of the moving mass of water.
If there's a tsunami warning, don't wait to see the waves. Head straight for high ground.

There is no instance in medieval global history of a single man uniting over 500 kings into surrendering their kingdoms for a larger cause. Pay tributes to Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, on his Jayanti.
Empires break, States fall, dynasties become extinct kings but deeds of great men live for ever.
But it is the duty of an honest historian to see things in Nation-First perspective in every case.
It is equally true that had Sardar opposed as early as in late 1930s the Muslim appeasement policies of Gandhiji & Congress - which Sardar did later - he could have played a key role in preventing Bharat’s partition along with Veer Savarkar.
For , by the time Sardar woke up Jinnah had laid the foundation of partition by capitalising on the pro-Muslim policies of the Cong. As it seems now , Sardar might not have been happy with Cong’s Muslim appeasement in 1930s but he held Gandhiji in such respect that he chose to keep quiet.
But Bharat should appreciate that the Govt of PM @narendramodi has carried forward the national security/integration agenda of Sardar Patel with distinction with such achievements as removal of A370 from J&K & smashing of the violence Maoist movement & many other milestones.

I got a call from a scammer yesterday.
Me: “Hello.”
Scammer: (thick, heavy accent) “Hello. This is Tom Smith from Microsoft Support. We are seeing a lot of virus activity coming from your device.”
Me: “Oh no. My device? Are you sure?”
Scammer: “Oh yes, Madam. We have many reports.”
Me: “Oh, jeez. How can I fix it?”
Scammer: “It’s okay, Madam. We can help you right now. Are you in front of your device?”
Me: “Yes. I was just about to use it. I’m glad you called.”
Scammer: “Good, Madam. Please push the Start button.”
Me: “I think it’s already on.”
Scammer: “Okay, Madam. Now click on Control Panel.”
Me: “I don’t see that.”
Scammer: “Do you see a bunch of information above the Start button?”
Me: “Yes.”
Scammer: “That is your Control Panel.”
Me: “Wow. I didn’t realize it had a name.”
Scammer: “Yes, Madam. Now press Internet Options.”
Me: “I don’t see any Internet options. I don’t think I bought that feature. This is just a cheap one.”
