Have started sowing potatoes today. To everyone who mocked or abused me for being a farmer, Tax free income, here’s a reality check. Today, a 50 kg bag of potatoes is selling for just ₹250. Meanwhile, businesses sell 100 grams of fries for ₹100. Now decide for yourself who actually makes the bigger profit: the farmer or the business? So far, I’ve already spent: ₹100 per bag just for cold storage of seed potatoes. ₹100 per bag on sowing. That’s ₹200 already spent, with many more expenses still to come before harvest, including irrigation, fertilizers, labour, pesticides, transport, and more. In the end, a farmer is often left with barely ₹5–10 profit on a 50 kg bag, if that. Despite all this, farmers still don’t abuse anyone. We simply work hard, feed the nation, and hope for a fair return! The day Punjab, India has large-scale food processing plants, farmers will finally be able to earn what they truly deserve. 😀🙏🏻 @MOFPI_GOI @ChouhanShivraj

India is being lectured by western military commanders that we could learn drone warfare from NATO and its friends. Incredible how we Indians are putting on a blindfold and hoping to learn from an over-hyped and over-priced military-industrial complex. Meanwhile, the so-called revolution in military affairs is ironically being revealed by NATO’s adversaries with the innovations, tactics and economic sustainability of the war fighting machine these powers have demonstrated in live battlefields in the Middle East and Europe. For all the hype of dazzling Ukrainian drones and despite access to a sophisticated US satellite targeting and digital network, it has still (1) lost most of its vital territory and access to the sea, (2) is exposed at will to relentless Russian missile power in every nook and corner of the country including subterranean command & control facilities and critical infrastructure, (3) has lost elite troops, degraded its main reserves as well as the supply of its core fighting age population. (4) its western backers have been deterred from intervening in more disruptive ways and have lost the surplus capacities to effectively support Ukraine. In other words, the survival of the state has been imperiled. But record of this devastating military conflict is narrated in a way that Ukraine might be the one to provide lessons in the new military age. Are we perceiving an alternative reality? The real lesson — an age of mass precision strike and battlefield transparency favors the state with escalation dominance, a deep and sustainable magazine for a prolonged engagement, and an overall military superiority in that unique theatre of war fighting. Both Russia and Iran have proven this beyond any doubt in their distinct geopolitical contexts.

Having conquered Asia Twice in Four Years, Sheetal sets upon Second Medal at the Olympics, this time an upgrade to Gold at LA28.
'Armless Archer' - 24 hours earlier, if you had told me that someone can compete in archery at international level w/o arms, let alone pick up a bow & arrow, I would have laughed at you and called you an idiot. - But I'm not laughing any more. And I'm the one who's feeling like an idiot. - Why? - Because I came across Sheetal Devi. - I saw video of an Armless Girl, competing for gold in compound women open category in Para Championships. - I saw an Armless Girl holding the bow with her leg, loading arrows with her leg, and then pulling the string and shooting with her shoulder. - My feelings when I saw the video were a mix of sheer awe, amazement, disbelief and deep, deep respect for this phenomenally amazing girl. - There are so many amazing stories of para-athletes from around the world who've overcome lot of difficulties. - But competing in archery w/o arms? - That does not even make sense when you first consider it. - This like a mathematical equation where RHS =/ LHS. - But my goodness! This girl. This amazing girl. - With a sweet smile and an easy demeanor, she does something which looks straight out of fantasies and folklores. - She's won gold, silver and bronze at recent para-archery world championships in Czech Republic. - Kudos to the Indian Army @adgpi for identifying this talent from a remote village in Kishtwar, giving her a platform and then nurturing her by way of medical assistance, education and training. - And @megirish2001 ma'am and @AnupamPKher for providing the necessary support along with others. - For me personally, this girl has rewritten the definition of 'mind over matter' and what resilience, will power and hard work means. - I wish her all the best for everything in life. - A girl with challenges like her competing on the world stage and drawing top honors tells me that our century has arrived. - May Bholenath bless her always!
