The goal is bigger than graduation.
Indiana is rethinking high school so every student graduates with more than a diploma…they graduate with a head start on what comes next.

Indiana in the fall. Crisp air. Changing leaves. A quiet lake.
A good reminder to slow down, recharge, and enjoy what brings you joy.

A special evening at the Indiana State Museum celebrating 100 years of the Ball Brothers Foundation and a century of philanthropy.
President & CEO Jud Fisher welcomed two former Indiana governors—Mike Pence and Eric Holcomb, Indiana’s 50th and 51st governors—to reflect on leadership, service, and our state.
A remarkable legacy, and an exciting second century ahead for the Ball Brothers Foundation.
A kind young man named Luke made a point to thank me after his group moved on. It was such a sincere gesture, it made my day!
“It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice.”
A special thank you to students from the MSD of Wayne Township Transition Center who visited the IAPSS/ISBA suite to help us prepare for next week’s Fall Conference!
Students put their skills to work assembling and stuffing conference bags, supporting our team while gaining hands-on experience completing a real-world project. Afterward, the group toured the Indiana Statehouse and met Indiana’s education leaders.
We’re grateful for their hard work and for the opportunity to include students in the behind-the-scenes work that brings our conference together. Thank you for being part of the #INFallCon26 team! #LeadIAPSS @WayneTwpSchools @isbanews @KetchamPaul

Today marks 25 years since the horrific attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
This proclamation marks today as a day to remember every life lost and honor all who answered the call, including numerous Hoosiers who sprang into action, embodying the spirit and service that defines our state.
May we never forget.
Criticism points out what needs to change. Encouragement reminds people of what they’re capable of becoming.
Who will you encourage today?
As Labor Day comes to a close and summer slowly gives way to fall, I hope you’ve had a fantastic weekend…and that a great week awaits. Sometimes, a quiet sunset is the perfect way to reset.
Thank you to Dr. Eric Goggins for inviting me to North Gibson School Corporation today!
I was impressed by the intentional PreK–12 focus on problem solving, teamwork, and critical thinking—and the strong WBL partnership with Toyota.
Across Indiana, rigorous academics, skill development, student choice, and career-connected learning are moving full steam ahead. More than one million Hoosier students are preparing to lead, build, serve, and solve tomorrow’s challenges.

Grateful for the opportunity to share Indiana’s story at the Future Louisiana Conference today.
Across the country, states are asking how we better connect high school to what comes next. Indiana is helping lead that conversation. Redesigning the high school experience around enrollment, employment and enlistment/service.
Our goal is simple: every student graduates with a diploma that has real currency for their future.
