There is a small tornado risk for tomorrow late afternoon/evening. Storms mainly after 4pm may pose a threat through the late evening hours. Best chance is along and south of I-74/I-72. It's Illinois after all so always be on guard.

Heads up! We are going to be watching later tonight for a few severe storms mainly after 10pm. Not only that, but THURSDAY will also wind up being a day we will have to watch out for severe storms. It's been a few months since we've had severe weather, so just a little extra heads up since we've sort of been "quiet" for a bit.
Record breaking temperatures today. 90° recorded in Champaign. This breaks the old record of 87° set back in 1962. This is also the 2nd latest 90°+ day EVER since records began. The latest is Oct 14, 1899 when we hit 91°.
The first hurricane of the season in the Atlantic basin occurs on October 7th. Isaias just crossed the threshold to 75mph and will strengthen over the next 24 hours.
