The conversation on child labour should not end with a commemoration.
Last week's World Day Against Child Labour was an important reminder that millions of children still face barriers to education, protection, and opportunity.
The responsibility now lies with all of us to turn commitment into action and ensure that every child enjoys their right to a safe and fulfilling childhood.

Domestic workers are among the most essential yet often least protected workers in our societies.
As we strive to advance social justice and decent work for all, I encourage Tanzania 🇹🇿 to take a significant step forward by ratifying ILO Convention No. 189 on Decent Work for Domestic Workers.
Every domestic worker deserves dignity, fair working conditions, and access to social protection.
Rights at work should extend to every worker, everywhere.
