🕸️🕸️🕸️🕸️🕸️🕸️🕸️🕸️🕸️🕸️🕸️🕸️🕸️🕸️🕸️ Haven’t popped one of these up in a bit, so now seems as good a time as any to show off this 🔥🔥🔥. Freshly back from the framers, this beautiful piece of published original Spider-Man art now graces my gallery walls. Legend Mark Bagley conjured up a gem featuring Mr. Negative giving the business to our Friendly Neighborhood Spidey for The Amazing Spider-Man 59 (860 Legacy). Shoutout to inker John Dell as well for crushing it as always & for being a great dude. (He sold me the piece. 🙏) Funny story about this particular cover… I tried to find some concoction of frame & matte that I was happy with on the previous 2 outings to the framers, but ultimately was not satisfied & opted to go with completely different works on both occasions. So this last time, I was committed to finding something that I was content with. I feel I was able to capture it with this setup. The color of the frame takes inspiration from the published cover palate. That blue/green hue works well with the swirls that reminded me of developing film. A little homage to the “Negative” in spirit. A simple white matte with the angled edge compliments the textured black that outlines the actual piece. Overall, me likey! What are your thoughts?

After clicking a gazillion times to confirm I wanted to cancel my Premium, it’s finally done. I just cannot justify giving this platform & Elon any of my $ any longer.

National Dog Day this year is a without a doubt, bittersweet. It’s the first one in 23 years that I’m flying solo without any of my pack after losing Maya last Fall. With that being said, I still count my lucky stars that I was fortunate enough to go through the second half of my life thus far with my amazing friends by my side. Bandit, Bindi, Kitano, & Maya…you ARE my heart, and are missed every second of every day. Cheers to them for helping me become a better me, & to all the other pups out there…you are ALL perfect in every way. ❤️🐾🦴🦮❤️‍🩹

🕸️🕷️🕸️🕷️🕸️🕷️🕸️🕷️🕸️🕷️🕸️🕷️🕸️🕷️🕸️ Not much is quite as exciting for me these days as those when I head to the framers to pick up a freshly displayed beautiful piece of Original Comic Art!!! 🔥🔥🔥 The piece below is the Original Cover Art to the Amazing Spider-Man 57 (858 Legacy) by the incredibly talented Mark Bagley on pencils & John Dell on inks. This is the A cover, and one of 2 Bagley covers from the run that I was able to snag some years back. Still count my lucky stars to have landed it. As always, I tried to capture a sliver of what the colorist decided upon in the choice of framing and matting. I’m over the moon with how it all turned out. This one makes a backlog of 2 framed up pieces waiting in the wings to be hung in the always expanding Spidey Art Gallery. 🕸️🕷️🕸️🕷️🕸️🕷️🕸️🕷️🕸️🕷️🕸️🕷️🕸️🕷️🕸️

Back from the framers, this cover to Amazing Spider-Man 67 (868 Legacy) was part of the Sinister Villains variant line featuring some key moments from the life of Doctor Octopus. The artist??? None other than the great Javier Garron!!! I was so excited to land this beauty some years back & I’m just as excited to get it back from the frame shop today. I opted for some green & yellow to represent the classic look of the man of the hour, Doc Ock!!! Now I gotta figure out where to place it in the ever growing Spidey Art Gallery. Decisions…decisions…

Last night’s @splinterlands land harvest yielded a few tasty morsels. 2 of my 5 Keeps snagged me Rare Totem Fragments & my Castle netted a Common. This brings my current Rare Fragments up to 6. Just 2 more until I can combine them, & pop that full Totem on a plot to increase production by 25%.

Going back to 2019 for this one. Straight from the New York Comic Con, this commission of Mysterio by the great Kim Jung Gi is breathtaking. I’m so honored to have a piece by such a legend. Truly one of the greats of our time. His style was like nothing you’ve seen before. No sketching. No preplanning. Just winging it perfectly from his noggin. 🧠 The world tragically lost him just a few short years after this. Gone way too soon. Rest well sir. 🙏 Check comments to see the video of him conjuring this beauty up on the fly. It really is something special to 👀. 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇

Everyone should be following @HunterBiden here as he’s spitting sensible 🔥 with a flare of funny on the regular. People like to pretend they are better than others, but the reality is we’ve all fucked up, made mistakes, have regrets, & would love the opportunity to attempt to correct sins past. I’ll root for those folks any day. Happy to see you thriving homie. 👊

I see your profile picture. That’s Johnny Cash. My hero too. Arrested seven times. Smuggled 668 amphetamines across the Mexican border in 1965. Took every drug there was and drank like I did. Cheated on his first wife. Slept with more woman than I ever did. Hit bottom in a cave in Tennessee in 1968 trying to crawl off and die. And then he got up. He got clean. He spent the rest of his life singing for prisoners and addicts and the people the country threw away because he knew he was one of them. That was the whole point of the Man in Black. He wore it for the poor and the beaten down. He wore it for the prisoner who has long paid for his crime. He wore it for the ones who never heard a word of Jesus. He wore it for the addicted and the dying. He wore it as a standing witness that no one is past saving. You picked his picture. You did not pick his message. Try listening to the words.

It’s not everyday we get beautiful EC Comics walking through our door, so I totally dig these rare & special moments when they do pop up. After a press, and a slabbing thanks to @CGCComics, this copy of Weird Fantasy 13 came in at a 6.5. It presents…BEAUTIFULLY!!! - Colors are super rich! - Killer cover by Al Feldstein! I don’t think you can ask for more on a 74 year old book. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Ever since I was a kid, I was always impressed with the larger bulkier heftier figures. They just ruled, and this one here is near the top of the list. Pre Marvel Legends saw ToyBiz pop out “Classics” series for sone of its flagship Marvel characters such as Hulk, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, & a few others. One of the gems the Hulk line popped out was this insanely awesome Mecha-Hulk. This thing is a monster amongst its peers, and a ghost to track one down. When you are luckily enough to cross paths nearly 22 years after its release…it’ll set ya back a couple hundred bucks!!! 💰💰💰💰💰💰 Happy Hunting Hulk fans!!

While still a few months away from the premier of DC’s new show Lanterns, it doesn’t stop me from being pumped!!! In the meantime, this Green Lantern statue from @collectsideshow will have to fill the void.

Sometimes I walk downstairs & stop to 👀 at the stunning works lining my home Spidey Art Gallery. This one here, ALWAYS gets some of my attention. This is the Original Cover Art to the Amazing Spider-Man 663 by one of today’s modern masters…Frank Cho! This 12x24 oversized beauty is hard to miss with its unbelievable detail. Wraith, Anti-Venom, and the main man himself strike a pose amongst the smoke in one of my favorite pieces. Framing choice may appear a bit odd at first glance, but the colors are inspired by the finished & colored published version. Thx for taking a peek!
