Huge congrats to King's House and St Paul's alumni Freddie Davidson - Olympic Bronze Medallist, an amazing achievement! 🥉👏

We're so excited to have created a new woodland space dedicated to outdoor learning at King's House Sports Ground - which will be known as 'The Nest'! The area has been landscaped to include log seating, and over 400 trees planted thanks to The @WoodlandTrust 🌳

We can't believe it's the Easter holidays already! Yesterday we had two Spring Concerts from the JD and SD which were a brilliant way to end the term 🎼🎺 Wishing everyone a wonderful Easter break with friends and family 🐣

Congratulations to the team of Year 7s who performed in the Authors Abroad Poetry Slam London Final this week, and came in second place! 🥈 They performed a poem they composed during a recent workshop with rapper and poet Kimba on the theme of refuge ! ✏👏

Happy Mother's Day to everyone celebrating today! Butterfly Class painted flowers and made some lovely cards this week to take home 💐

World Book Day is one of our favourite times of the year, and we've loved celebrating over the last few days! 📚🌟 The Nursery and JD have dressed up as their favourite book characters, and we've enjoyed visits from authors and illustrators Jane Porter and Lisa Read.

📚 We kicked off World Book Day celebrations today with a visit from author and illustrator Louie Stowell, who spoke to Years 3 to 6 about the brilliant 'Loki' series! ✏️ Some of the boys then had the chance to create Loki inspired drawings in Miss Jones' classroom!

We've finished off the week with this year's House Music Competition, where there were over 200 performances in different categories throughout the day! 🎹🎻🎺 Well done to Ben who won the Open Class Competition, for Grade 5 and above 🎼

It’s been lovely to have everyone back after half term, and a huge thank you to everyone who has donated to the book drive for the @childrensbookproject this week 📚 Year 4 have been learning to divide by 10 and 100, and Caterpillars have been enjoying sensory week 🧮

A very happy Chinese New Year to everyone celebrating today! We are so grateful to all our families who have shared their special celebrations with us this week, including their traditions, clothes and decorations 🧧🏮🐉

It's been another busy week at King's House! It's been jam-packed with cross country fixtures, music workshops, class assemblies and much more 🏃🎨🎇

A huge thanks to author @NotAgainBen for coming to speak to Years 5 and 6 about his new book, 'The Boy Who Fell From the Sky'! 🌠 The boys loved hearing about it and were so excited to have their books signed 📚

In assembly last week we celebrated all the amazing work the SD boys have made in Art and Design Technology 🎨 They have created such a wide variety of work, including acrylic pouring workshops, making marble mazes and pinball machines, and designing artwork for t-shirts 🍰🍭🖌

Wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas break with friends and family 👋 We finished the term with lots of lovely events, including the SD Carol Service, Christmas Jumper Day, and a special visit from Santa and his elves in the Nursery 🎅

Nursery Butterfly Class wowed us at their nativity this morning, ‘The Big Little Nativity’! Always a highlight of the term, they have done so well learning all the songs this term 👏🎄🌟

We've been treated to some wonderful festive performances today! Well done to Reception and Year 1 for their fantastic nativities, and to Year 2 and 3 on their Christmas concert at St Matthias Church 🌟🎄🎁

Year 7 gave a fantastic performance of 'Frankiestein' yesterday evening! It's amazing to see all the boys performing on stage 🎭 Today Years 7 and 8 enjoyed a STEM day with Bloodhound Education, designing and building an prototype air-powered rocket car 🏎️
