Some people need coffee to wake up. Others prefer 5.7 liters of American attitude. 🇺🇸 1999 Camaro SS. LS1. 355 HP. Zero apologies. Cold starts. Warm hearts. Unhappy neighbors. 😎🔥 #CamaroSS #LS1 #ColdStart #AmericanMuscle

Look… not for nothing… Imagine just a short time ago some rando Pentagon LTC ever getting offered the opportunity to just dominate @AdamKinzinger in a physical competition… With some of the most notorious active duty (@FancyFancyBear1 / @TheIOGuy / @usawtfm / @veteran_talk military accounts asking for it… with them ready, willing, and able to stream it with a reach over easily of 3 million… Then the VCSA’s #1 nemesis comes off the top rope dangling an admin reveal as an extra reward… (an account he literally set up a task force back in the day to identify lol) Now I’m sure this post will get a couple likes maybe a share or two… but bruh… if this don’t prove that this site ain’t shit to the real force.. I don’t know what will… I Sincerely… don’t know what to tell ya @infantrydort … I know I’ve trolled ya for the last year.. and you dip, ducked, dodged pretty well… but this here… this here is something different my man 🤣🤣🤣 This is the stuff that legends are made of man… You could seriously etch your name in @USArmy folklore in a way that very few have ever had the opportunity to do in the modern era… And all ya have to do… Is take a PT test… Do it for the love of the game fam…

The Army should create two officer career tracks: Tactical/Operational and Strategic/Institutional. After company command, and again after MAJ KD, officers choose whether to pursue tactical command or develop expertise for Corps+, Army, Joint, and institutional leadership. Once an officer selects the Strategic/Institutional track, they cannot return to the tactical command pipeline. Develop depth, not career “box checking.” 🏔️☠️⬇️

The Army should stop treating strategic and institutional assignments as places tactical officers temporarily visit between command opportunities. Likewise, it should stop treating tactical formations as places institutional officers must periodically return simply to remain competitive. I’ve seen too many BN, BDE, DIV CDRs that cycled from GO ADC/GO XO, to Tactical units to get “KD Qual” just so they can make the next rank. They ultimately end up at G8 PA&E, J5, T2COM G3, etc. The guys and gals that know how to fight and master warfare culminate at LTC/COL. Instead: Develop tactical leaders deliberately. Develop strategic leaders deliberately. Reward excellence in both. The result is not two classes of officers. It is two forms of professional mastery serving one Army.

The current system tends to reward the officer who periodically checks every box: Tactical → Broadening → Tactical → Aide de Camp → Tactical → GO XO → Command… This produces breadth, but it can sacrifice genuine expertise. The dual-track model instead asks: What does the Army need this officer to become exceptionally good at? For some: Fighting and commanding Army tactical formations. For others: Building, integrating, transforming, resourcing, and strategically leading the Army as an institution. Both are professions requiring years of deliberate development.

Build this as a deliberate bifurcated officer talent model, not as a traditional functional-area transfer. The central idea is that the Army develops two equally valued forms of senior leadership: officers optimized to fight tactical formations, and officers optimized to lead the institutions that build, integrate, resource, and strategically employ the Army.

Do you put it all on the line to do what is necessary? Boldness has a real definition: putting it all on the line to do what's necessary. Not the version we post about. The version that costs something before anyone's watching. I think about that difference more than I say out loud.

If loyalty is your organization’s only implied value, you will not create disciplined initiative. You will create blind obedience and flattering agreement.

American Legion players play with area kids they grew up with, representing their local communities, not a corporate brand. Pure baseball without the 4 games on Sunday money grab. No team is EVER supposed to play 4 games in a day. That’s not exposure, that’s be exposed.
