BREAKING: Statement from @metpoliceuk confirms they DID receive a letter from the USA about Thomas Markle. It raised concerns “in relation to the security of the Duchess of Sussex”.
But police say it was in January 2019. Not the summer of 2018 as Harry & Meghan’s office said yesterday.

Update: @itvnews has seen a copy of the 2018 letter which was passed to Meghan by the Metropolitan Police, outlining allegations about her father, Thomas Markle.
It was this letter - written by someone close to the Markle family - which caused Meghan to cease all contact with her father. As she wrote today, it was to "protect" her children, Archie and Lilibet.

Meghan; “I hope it can now be understood that, despite certain media publications’ distortion over the years, any distance from my father and my choice to not allow him to have contact with our children, was for one reason: to protect them.”

I’m no body language expert, but WOW. Ilhan Omar’s reaction tonight was something else.
Watch how quickly her facial expression appears to shift from confidence to fear the moment she reveals DHS seized 17 of her personal items.
That sudden change in expression is hard to miss.
And 17 items...what a number 😏
The chairs are huge, and they are set up in a rather impractical orientation for a three-way conversation. That must be why Rubio looks so uncomfortable. But why didn't he just fix the chair? He looks disinterested.
