The day after the @CityBrampton Winter Lights and the @TigerSingh_Fdn Miracle on Main Street, we deliver toys to local charity groups.
We had the chance to visit Brampton Civic Hospital, the Brampton Food Hub, Knights Table and the Boys & Girls Club this morning with truckloads of donated toys. We also added a food drive into the campaign this year.
We are determined to make sure every child in #Brampton has a toy this holiday season!

Recently, Khalsa Aid Canada dropped off bread to the Knights Table Soup Kitchen in Brampton. Knights Table is a non-profit organization that provides food bank services on a weekly basis and free hot meals 365 days of the year to anyone in need of food.
Due to the difficult job market, many families including Punjabi families and international students from India are turning to their services.
These are difficult times, as the job market tightens. Many vulnerable members of our community in Brampton are in need of support.
Guru Nanak Dev Ji said, “ਇਤੁ ਤਨਿ ਲਾਗੈ ਬਾਣੀਆ ॥ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਸੇਵ ਕਮਾਣੀਆ ॥ ਸਭ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣੀਆ ॥੩॥” which means “This body is softened with the Word of the Guru’s Bani; you shall find peace, doing seva (selfless service). All the world continues coming and going in reincarnation.”
Let's recognize the great organizations like @Knights_Table that are working so hard to support Brampton, Mississauga and the Peel Region.
