Fact. When Dermot goes Ross steps up. Ross stood in front of the GB bullies and said facts to their faces. Their response since? Masks, wee banners, tennis balls, then run away. Whatever you think of the Desmonds, Ross has shown more backbone than the lot of them.

Republic of Ireland’s players are considering boycotting Sunday’s match against Israel after Gavin Bazunu, the goalkeeper, said he did not want to play.
