Once you go to a #starbucks near LAX (not in it) you are spoiled for life. They can get 25 people thru in 5 minutes. Everywhere else is tortuous after that.

Raphael Warnock is absolute proof that Christianity and democracy can live in perfect harmony. I’m an atheist, but he represents the Jesus Christ I’ve been told about.

Remember how you felt, two years ago today, when the news came out that the Supreme Court would overturn Roe and set back women’s rights by generations?
The man responsible is on the ballot again in November.
Vote accordingly.

Japanese PM Fumio Kishida speaking in the U.S. Congress:
"You believed that freedom is the oxygen of humanity. The world needs the United States to continue playing this pivotal role in the affairs of nations. And yet, as we meet here today, I detect an undercurrent of self-doubt among some Americans about what your role in the world should be!
This self-doubt is arising at a time when our world is at history's turning point. The post-Cold War era is already behind us, and we are now at an inflection point that will define the next stage of human history.
The international order that the U.S. worked for generations to build is facing new challenges, challenges from those with values and principles very different from ours.
Freedom and democracy are currently under threat around the globe."

To all MAGAT's using Laken Riley, where were you when my daughter was killed by a teenage American male? Where were you when Trump lied about the Parkland murder? You don't give two f-cks about Laken or her parents, just as you don't about victims of gun violence by Americans.

I'm pretty liberal but not @RashidaTlaib "I'm going to help Trump and the GOP because I don't understand how President Biden can't force the Prime Minister of Israel to do something no one has been able to do in 100 years"-liberal.
THIS!!!
Joel Osteen had $600K in the walls of his house, and nobody asked where it came from. Sen. Melendez had nearly half a million stashed in his home, plus gold bars, and his assertion that it came from personal savings because of confiscation practices in Castro’s Cuba was A-OK. But Fani’s explanation for her keeping cash in her home is a bridge too far apparently…

Last January, I noticed something peculiar in my 2yo’s bedroom that - after a year of obsessive reporting - led me to a profound cosmic revelation about what’s even possible in our universe. A 🧵.

I need young women to hear me: it wasn’t until 1974 women were granted the right to establish credit in their own name and banks could no longer require a co-signer like a husband or father.
A brief 50 years. Just like Roe. Pay attention, please. 🙏🏻

If men across America cared about Brett Favre stealing welfare money the way they do about Taylor Swift watching her boyfriends' football games, the world might be a better place.
