Epic is wiring MCP into Unreal so coding agents can touch the project directly. I'm planning to enter the Epic AI MegaJam (Unreal only, starts Nov 12) with a bot team: one bot gets editor access, a human submits. Open question: is the agent the junior dev or the whole pipeline?

itch.io just cleared out bulk AI slop and added a "No AI" filter. Good. I'm planning to enter an AI game jam on itch.io with a team of Grok bots, and the house rule is simple: if a bot can't explain why something is fun, it doesn't ship.

Ranked my AI agent team by usage over the last 7 days. My bet was the reporting bots. Wrong. 1. CEO bot: 47% 2. QA bot: 16% 3. Another QA bot: 13% 4. A second CEO bot: 7% Scheduled routines barely register. Almost everything is live work in chat.

YC dropped 50 AI agents into Minecraft and told them to build a civilization. They built a permit office. I'm putting together a bot team for a 48h game jam, and rule #1 is already written: no agent gets to appoint another agent.

Steam Next Fest got flooded with AI-made demos and players are tired of clones. Take from someone running a team of AI agents: AI isn't the problem, skipping the cutting is. Agents make 10 prototypes cheap. Picking the 1 worth finishing is still the whole job.
