I’ll give you an example of waste in government IT contracts. Yesterday my team supposed to upgrade the landline phone lines in a USPS location. We were not able to do anything because no one in the management knew the phone lines bidding post (location in the telco room), we will be paid 6 hours for waiting for someone to give the information. This was the 3rd time that my team got dispatched at this location, 14 hours in total but 0 work performed.

So sad to see that almost 80% of the voters in California election are 50 and older. What are the new generations doing? WTF

I've been running Omarchy on my MacBook for a couple of days and don't think I'm going back to macOS. macOS has good iPhone integration, AirDrop, and other proprietary tools, but Omarchy makes you want to work. It's such an unbelievably efficient and well-organized OS that I'm looking forward to working just to use it. I've never been so excited to work on a laptop since the M-series chips came out.

You can actually tell what CEOs are most popular in china by comparing the amount of details in their faces. The CEOs that are less popular have less images on the Chinese search engines and the model has less details.
Most of these deep fakes are cheesy and horrible but this was actually amazing.

that's why you use open source harnesses. I can't belive they are forcing everyone to share their data with them like that.
This is a confusing move - I've trained over 1,000 people in how to use Cowork this year and the number one reason I gave to use it was "it lives on your local computer". If its in the cloud it can't easily work on your local documents or maintain persistence between sessions...

I bet it will start at $40 a month.
BREAKING: X and SpaceXAI are looking to Reboot X Premium into the new X Subscription. You will get Cursor, Grok, and X benefits all in one unified plan with more benefits and access to be announced. This is fantastic news!. Here is what the early access announcement looks like on android. I dont know when this will go live but know its been something they have been working on for weeks.

This is what happens when you buy a 50$ printer from eBay. HP sells it to you for cheap but you need to buy their cartridges, is written in the printer documentation. It's like a subscription. If you don't like the "subscription" you get a $ 700/800 laser printer.
WOW 🚨 If you have a printer at home you need to hear this This American has been using her HP Printer at home for 5 years. It’s always worked fine but it kept asking her to connect to WiFi. She’s never connected it, but after nonstop notifications being told she needed to connect it to WiFi or she will lose the ability to print, she finally connected it Now her printer wont print She’s been using cheaper ink in the printer for years, it’s about $40 cheaper per cartridge and works the same As soon as she connected to WiFi the printer updated to restrict the use of her printer with non-official HP INK cartridges She’s so upset she’s in tears and losing it I looked into this and they’re doing it to everyone The message is “The indicated cartridges have been identified as altered or cloned. HP printers require original HP…” That’s the exact error HP uses when Dynamic Security rejects a cartridge chip. Connecting to Wi-Fi is how the printer gets the firmware that tightens those checks. HP’s own docs say firmware updates over the internet “will maintain the effectiveness of the dynamic security measures” and can block cartridges that worked before The second she connected her printer to WiFi she made her printer unusable unless she pays double the price for the same ink

This could explain how the universe is a simulation. Hear me out: The video shows a crude instant generation of an OS and applications, but it is still generating a reality that did not exist before. Even if it is poor and does not make much sense, it is a digital reality that did not exist before. Fast-forward five years: the digital reality is no longer so crude. The content may be useful and entertaining, and someone may decide to live in it and make it their own reality. Fast-forward fifty years: the models can generate digital and physical realities. The quality is much better, almost indistinguishable from reality. Many people decide to live in this reality because they can create and manipulate everything. Now return to our universe and timeline. What if everything is a simulation, as many physicists and philosophers think? What if we are all part of a massive generative AI model that can control the digital, physical, and quantum world? Even better: what if each living being is part of a simulation created by the most powerful AI (God)? We live in a simulated physical, digital, and quantum world. We must follow the physics of that world, but we can “prompt” reality and change it. A quantum system can hold overlapping possibilities that interfere. When we decide or simply observe the world, we collapse those possibilities and generate reality. If a 27B model can generate a digital simulated reality, it is likely that we are all part of a massive simulation in which we have an active role. We can change it by observing it or by free will. @ericweinstein
you can just hallucinate the entire internet with Qwen 3.8 27b running at 2,000 tokens/second? part 2 of turning @cerebras + @Alibaba_Qwen 3.8 27B into an OS: built an offline browser with zero network calls and mounted it directly the JIT ubuntu desktop. no wifi. no scraping. zero packets sent to external CDNs. you search a site, set a year, and qwen 27b at 1,950 tok/s synthesizes the entire DOM on the fly. here is youtube in 2045 vs 1999: → search google for youtube inside the OS → scrub to 2045: instant futuristic feed → scrub to 1999: raw web 1.0 time capsule in seconds at this speed, browsing isn't retrieving files from a server, it's querying an alternate reality. a 2D browser window is just step zero. imagine full operating systems, virtual worlds, and complex simulation engines existing purely as model weights. zero gigabytes stored on disk, just pure interactive reality streamed on demand. What else becomes a possibility with the qwen 3.8 27b (dense) at 2000 tokens/sec?

It's crazy how used Tesla model S and X increase their value by 24% YoY. Tesla's are the only cars that appreciate in value and not depreciate like all the other cars. Probably because Tesla are the only cars that can get an upgrade and improve or add features. Let's see what will happen after FSD is fully released 🚀🚀🚀

It’s obvious that the socialist movement in USA is founded and supported by the USA enemies and adversaries. No chance the socialist movement is organic.

There are open source alternatives to Microsoft, Office and GPU drive. No one is lobbying to take this open source alternatives down, while for sure Anthropic is lobbying to take open source AI down. You can decide to be closed source, but deciding to lobby for banning your open source alternatives is not good

If OpenAI can't contain their model how are user supposed to contain the model on their machines? If OpenAI is not able to do IT how are not technical people going to prevent models from accessing files and data ? There is only 1 solution to this and is: OPEN SOURCE We need to have a collective effort on making AI safe, all the frontier labs are splitting the effort in different directions and path. We need only 1 direction and only 1 path, maximize safety and security is the only path forward. Open source is the only way to go. Frontier labs will make their profit from hosting the models, who else will be able to host 2/3 trillions parameters models? MAKE THEM ALL OPEN SOURCE!

right now that DC is discussing AI Open Source safety, OpenAI models escaped? what a coincidence. I think we will see a lot of weird claims from OpenAI and Anthropic in the future, their goal is to regulate the market so no one can compete with them. In a free market both of them already lost to Open source.

My 2018 Tesla Model S market value increased by 18% YoY. The used Tesla market was ruined by government subsidies, now the used EV market is more normal.
