تصريح د. نزار حداد، المدير العام على هامش توقيع #الصندوق_الكويتي للتنمية اتفاقية منحة مع المركز الدولي للبحوث الزراعية في المناطق الجافة «إيكاردا»، للإسهام في تمويل مشروع تطوير ونشر الأصناف الزراعية المحسّنة وراثياً باستخدام الحلول الذكية. يهدف المشروع إلى تحديث وتسريع برامج التحسين الوراثي للمحاصيل الزراعية، من خلال تطوير أصناف محسّنة قادرة على التكيّف مع التغيرات المناخية والظروف البيئية في المناطق الجافة وشبه الجافة بالدول العربية. A statement by Dr. Nizar Haddad, Director-General of (ICARDA) on the sidelines of the grant agreement signing between#KuwaitFund for Development and the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (@ICARDA ) to contribute to the financing of a smart solutions-based project for developing and disseminating genetically improved agricultural varieties. It aims to update and accelerate genetically improved agricultural crops programs through developing modified varieties capable of adapting to climate change and environmental conditions of dry and semi-dry regions in Arab states.

كرّم مركز الحسين للسرطان في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية #الصندوق_الكويتي للتنمية تقديراً لمساهماته في دعم علاج اللاجئين السوريين المصابين بالسرطان، وذلك خلال الحفل الذي أقيم بمناسبة مرور 25 عاماً على تأسيس المركز، تحت رعاية صاحبي الجلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني ابن الحسين والملكة رانيا العبدالله، في العاصمة الأردنية عمّان. يأتي هذا التكريم تقديراً للتعاون القائم بين الصندوق والحسين للسرطان في توفير الرعاية الطبية للاجئين السوريين المصابين بالسرطان في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية. تسلّم التكريم نيابةً عن الصندوق، السيد/ أسامة العتال، مدير الإدارة المصرفية خلال الحفل الذي أقيم في عمّان، بحضور عدد من المسؤولين، والشركاء والداعمين المركز.
