HS Junior:
“I throw 79 right now. I want to play Division 1. I just need the right program.”
Expectation:
Buys program. Follows it religiously. Changes training and dietary habits. Transforms into a D1 prospect after 3 months. Lands scholarship to dream school
Reality:
👉
Buying a program makes people feel safe. They have the resource in front of them. They have the ingredients. They can see it. If they don’t get the results they are picturing, they can just blame the program and look for the BETTER program that actually works.
Every day I talk to 2 types of people
Type 1 knows what they want. All in. No hesitation. Higher performers. Harder workers. No coincidence.
Type 2 is on the fence. Say they want something but won’t do a thing to get it. They stay average.
One wants it. One just says they do.
Your problem is not mobility.
Your problem is not mobility.
Your problem is not mobility.
Then what is your problem?
👉
Throw
If you want to throw harder, you have to learn the skill of throwing.
Yes, all the other tools are important - lifting, sprinting, mobility, diet, recovery, etc.
You can maximize all the tools you want, but at the end of the day…

Competition brings the best out of athletes.
Create the environment for the athletes to challenge themselves and let them explore success/failure.

If the goal is winning, you need to practice winning.
